Thanks bro, but the discussion & assumptions might lead to a wrong turn, if I don't clarify right now that the bike to be launched in January is.... its not a full faired. And I saw its final version which is to reach the showrooms, not some prototype. Its a naked and its already tested months ago.
If you would've seen it in my place, you would've guessed what it was. I just don't want to breach Bajaj's trust, so I won't say anything more, although I had no plan to disclose this info, but the discussion is going other way so I had to.

Yes, this means the bike in question in this topic, is not probably coming earlier than the one I've seen. Of course, Bajaj might change stuff, so nothing's set in stone.

I believe that for Bajaj, a lot of times, there is no disguise at all, they just use older bike's frame and other parts while they may be testing a new engine. This line is just my strong assumption though, from what I've seen over the months.

I know that you can't disclose much more info but can you at least confirm whether a 200cc faired bike is on its way or not? I wish to know if I've been waiting for something that doesn't exist. I've been waiting for months now .

I think the one [MENTION=15693]princesirohi[/MENTION] saw was a 200SS considering it had 130 section tire, they were testing it alongside D200 I guess. The 370CC pulsar is having 150 section tire, not Metz though.

i think the launch is very near Found this in facebook pic courtesy powerdrift.and i think this answers the question of whether they will make it come in single colour or with graphics n dual tone color and yes yellow seem to be there and abs could come only as an option and not standard on the the new p200
and i think the name bumblebee now aptly suits the new 200 rather than the NS. Personally the bike would look great sans the dual tone paint and graphics

i think the graphics execution is the culprit here this is already a hyper busy design with lots of cuts curves and slashes and with the graphics the cleanliness of the already busy design is lost and to help with this issue,if it is left without graphics this will turn out to be good looking motorcycle. There is also the lighting in the photo that is making the yellow loose its original sheen and beauty that we can see on the NS and is kind of making it look dull. I think bajaj should launch it without graphics as the default model and keep the graphics as an optional accessories like how ktm does it.

Yeah. I too feel the front is a bit over the top. And with Bajaj adding graphics to it. Makes it look waaay to flashy. The NS looked good without graphics and Bajaj screwed it up by adding graphics. Pulsar's have always looked awesome without graphics.

Bajaj may be testing both Pulsars (200 and 375) simultaneously. Who knows..
4 noticeable difference-

1. Exhaust in one is underbelly and in another it is protuding.

2. The front portion of the belly of the fairing (just behind the front tire) is bit more pointed on one and more curved on other.

3. One bike has front white rim, the other one has both in white. (not sure but the front white rim one looks like 200ss). Dunno, but there is definitely some catch

4. Front Tire groove patter is different on 2 bikes. (MHE-104-C looks like having thinner tires and hence 200SS)

(not attaching spy pics as there are many available online already)


P.S. 200 and 390 Dukes are almost similar rides cosmetics goes. So Bajaj may follow the same pattern as well.
