      I really doubt if Bajaj is going to wait that long to launch ss400 in particular as they displayed production ready model (according to Bajaj's R&D head) at the autoexpo.
      Probably it will get launched by Diwali this year if not earlier. We have seen the test mules doing rounds all over the country, so I don't think we will be waiting long before seeing SS400 on roads. Even CS400, I don't see any reason why it should go to 2016, coz chasis/engine are already there.. only dynamics need to be put in place. However, I would really love CS200, Bajaj if you are reading this, please bring in a CS200 and I do believe NS200 & CS200 can co-exist in the market.

        Bajaj unveiled two variants of the Pulsar i.e pulsar 400ss and pulsar 400cs
        after nearly three months pulsar 400 ss is ready to test on road,

        these pics were taken near nigdi pune around 6.10 pm ,we followed him upto 4 kms,at end we asked him is it pulsar 400ss ,he smiled by saying "yes it will launch in 2015"thats it ,he throotled up revving at each gear, and went far away from us.
        it seems that bajaj will launch 400ss in q1 0f 2015.and later followed by 400cs

                    Dont know but test rider said it will be launching in 2015 probably jan or feb,ya i too think its bit late
                    Ss road test started first, so it might be cs will launch after ss

                              1. The Pulsar SS 200 will be launched first and likely in 2014.
                              2. The vehicles being tested are ALL SS 200.
                              3. SS 200 WILL have ABS at least as an option.
                              4. FUEL INJECTION may or may not be present because;
                              5. The fairing adds extra weight, which need to be offset by more power. If it adds an extra 30000 -35000 to the price tag, the SS 200 would cost 1.25 to 1.3 lakhs, which is quite good for a FI + ABS bike and undercuts the CBR quite nicely. This may be preceded by the KTM Duke 200 ABS (i.e. the 2014 model) and a slight price hike to maintain its premium status. (It is quite possible that Bajaj/KTM is just waiting for the current Duke 200 stock to be sold before launching the 2014 edition.)

                                I ve personally seen 200ss n 400ss, both ve same fairing,tailamp, der is slight change in postion, 200 ss same as current ns but 400ss oh boys its all power house of d390 n exhaust sound its neither of 390 nor lyk ns, its awat from both, remember ninja 250 its sweet roar,jst lyk ninja 400ss exhaust is sweet n butter smooth
                                I ve even spoted latest ns wid same body n tyre n disc i thnk it may be fi version
