Bro, we are talking about a budget performance bike. For aluminum swing arm we may have to look at the RC series.
Ducati, just removed the single sided swing arm before they bring the 796 as 795 to India.Its more of a cost saving measure (regular swing-arm)

I like the Energica design more. It looks more proportionate than this pulsar.
A designer, if half decent will not try to copy stuff as is. We need to check who have done the design this time for Bajaj.
But if making own design means, making them like latest Karizmas, I will prefer copying.

You are right, Bajaj was outsourcing design so far. So they might not have a great design team.

When 200 NS was launched Bajaj shared the design sketches and the thought process behind the design. Lets see what they does this time.

From your most post (and similar) I would like to summarize my learning as this:

Bajaj will not be able to create even a gas tank without the help of KTM.

Hey man tune down a bit. You don't own this site to talk in this tone. So better watch what BS you are laying here before telling me. Tastes are personal and I for one like the energica design than this. And me and many others feel its like a copy and that's it. Faith is good but blind faith is too bad. If people like this design then so be it. I am among the few who hate it for the fact that it looks a bit too much lik the energica version. You think the latter is ugly. But I don't. And this site is a place where we pour in our opinions. You may not like mine. That doesn't mean you call another bike as an ugly piece of arse. End of discussion.

LoL.. wondering whether that designer you are talking about was drunk while designing.. don't compare it with energica and everyone knows this is a copy of the energica..

So going by what you are saying.. you must have rode the ducati.. if not.. you have no rights to talk crap about it.. where are you getting all these irrelevant answers and questions.. you please learn about those bikes before you comment..

When I talk about designing I do know what I'm talking about as I've experience about it at first hand. I hate it, when people behave like keyboard warriors.
Energica "concept" was launched just a few months before pulsar first spy shot came in. You sound like they made pulsar overnight by just looking at energica poster. From my experience in the industry, no motorcycle can be made within a few months. Good motorcycles take a few years in RnD process alone. You have completely no idea how ridiculous you sound.

I'll pull two more brands in this discussion because it's completely relevant here. Going by your *logic* it's perfectly possible that Toyota copied Tata Aria concept and made Innova. As Aria Concept was launched a few months before the introduction of Innova.

You have no idea how much discouraging your words are. Few of my student when they were told by some rookies that their designs resemble to ones which exist in the industry by 20%-30%, they went into frustration coma as their years of genuine efforts are turned to dust. (Rookies = standard Indians who like to pull legs of other Indians, they themselves don't put any creative efforts and only try to discourage those who do)

You already put your point across when you first said the new pulsar is copied from energica "concept". But if you keep posting the same points, same images multiple times in the same thread then others will assume that your fanboyism is at extreme or you're being paid to spread hatred against Bajaj.

when was the first spy pics of the pulsar found? when was the energica first put on concept?? anyways. I am not against bajaj or any brand.. but the way you put up Ducati was not true. the vibs might be present compared to the other SBKs but not as much as the ones we have in India.

am always gonna be a fan of an Indian brand and so will I be always..

Btw, I think we need a separate thread for 200SS or this thread should be renamed, since the launch of 200SS is now very much confirmed. Somebody who looks for updates on the 375 will be very disappointed to see all the 200SS spy pics and discussions.

We do.have common sense to tell us that designing a bike takes time. But if bajaj was really putting an effort, a little more of it would have given this 200ss a much better look instead of making a look-alike.
Anyways lets not go OT. I made my response only cause my post was called BS. Lol! The feelings are mutual between me and the guy who made that comment.

Coming to topic, I just have one query. What might be the price difference between this and NS? Any rough figure? 10-15k?

I think you haven't got full context.

I wasn't living under a rock until the orange bike came to this land. I have reasonable understanding about what a company like bajaj can do. Because I am following them for long time. How they do business, their interest in creating New things in this market. I was one among those whose heart beat had harmonized with earliest of calibers and pulsars, without loosing any respect for for rx or rd. Because their brave moves and building from nowhere commands respect.

If one had got enough chance to ride the last bike on older pulsar platform 220 for long enough, and if they know the time taken to reach there from the first self made pulsar, he will not dish out such comments.

But these days I have seen some people
Purposely attempting to say that bajaj - ktm is zero.

I am not sure whether this is saddism or excessive love for some other brand.
Either way not very interesting to read it repeatedly.

If you're talking about me, then you got it completely wrong. I never said anything like that. Don't look at things with a negative mindset. Look at it like this : Bajaj + KTM = competition for Jap brands. None of the Indian manufacturers have been able to do that till now. With the help of KTM, Bajaj is all set to do that . BUT, KTM will be a very important factor in defining Bajaj's future. Without it, Bajaj would find it difficult to compete in sports bike category. That's the truth. We know by how much Bajaj's reputation (especially in terms of build quality) improved after the launch of 200NS.
