    I don't wanna repeat this in a third thread. Enough is already said in the other thread.

        This is ridiculous! Bajaj has taken tech from ktm rite. Cause they have a partnership? Which part of the partnership did you not understand that's between hero and ebr? Hero and ebr are partners man! LOL!! They have sponsored the latter so they do have a legal agreement. Just like the one between ktm and bajaj.
        Now that I have told you they both are partners and hero can legally take its inspirations from ebr cause hero have sponsored them at the same time, could you please enlighten me the relationship between energica and bajaj?

            There is a lot of difference between a 5% stake in a company and 48% ownership of a company. Legally take inspiration? LOL.. if they are taking inspiration, there is no law that prohibits it, but this is plain body panel copying/sharing whatever you call it and of course it's allowed legally as per their agreement!

              To all the above warriors, tell me one thing. Why does a company buy a stake in another company ? Be it 5% or 49%, doesn't matter. They invest so much money just to show-off ?
              They do this as they want to use their tech and other goodies and not invest their own time when they can get something ready made. They had developed their own in the past and are still doing so, but now that they own a part of a company which already has far advanced tech, why not just use it.
              And about copy pasting, I for one like the new Pulsar design.
              If the tech were also copy pasted, they why are they testing the bikes for so long ? Because they are tuning and making the engine suit the Indian conditions more. Thats something.


              Just stick with what the thread is about.

                I just have one question. What might be the price difference between ns and this? Rough figures anyone? My cousin wants to buy the NS but I've told him to wait a few months. If price difference is too much then I can tel him to just go ahead and buy NS.

                  It depends on the features.. if FI and ABS are standard.. then it will be atleast 30,000 extra..

                  Keeping the fairing and headlight Assembly as 10,000/- roughly.. the ABS as 10,000/- roughly and the FI would add another 10,000/-

                  If it is going to be carb'd with ABS standard, then 20,000 more than the 200ns..

                  If ABS is optional, then 10,000/- without abs..

                  Just a rough calculation.. the fairing and assembly kit together for zmr will cost nearly 8000/- the quality of plastic is good too.. so keeping all these parameters.. the fairing could be 10,000/- also somce they are going to be dual projectors..

                  Otherwise doesnt seem like some heavy changes..

                    I dont think they will give ABS as standard. Bajaj is famous for VFM factor and ABS will take the pricing above R15 which can hurt its sales. They can add FI as standard to improve its power delivery, fuel efficiency etc. Even with FI and fairing I am expecting them to add 16000-18000rs/- to its existing cost.

                      Minus the price of current head lamp assembly price some 2.5 k and current break components price whatever it worth. And then some adjustments.

                      But in case of bajaj pricing is not that straightforward. More so because of its 25+ % profit margin. They can loose some to kill opposition

                        Keeping all your replies in mind we may say 20-30k more than the NS? As said, bajaj can decrease their profit margin in order to attack their opponents. And payin 20k extra is TOTALLY worth it. Cause you'll get a way better headlight assy with a fairing too. But 30k would fall on a bit higher side I guess.

                          may be you can compare it better once the bike is officially launched, at the moment it seems you are only looking for similarity to declare it as copycat design. You might as well compare energica with Yamaha R series bikes to see how original their design is.

                          Price difference will not be more than 20k between NS and SS (assuming FI won't be there on this bike & it comes with ABS as standard).
