    Mahindra in final stages of testing 390cc Mojo

    Mahindra revealed that the almost finalised Mojo will be released very soon, but did not divulge exact dates for the release.



    The motorcycle is put through some final tests before it will be officially launched in the market. The Mojo has been designed at the R&D centre in Pune and will be produced in its Pithampur fascility.

    "Right now we are undertaking some final tests before launching it (in the market)..",
    Mahindra and Mahindra Executive Vice-President (Strategy and Market Development), Viren Popli told reporters here.

    Mahindra is hoping to pip Bajaj in this segment by bringing the Mojo into the market before the Pulsar hits the market. Bajaj and Mahindra also launched the Discover 100T and the Pantero around the similar time.

    Advice is a form of nostalgia.

          This might make some sales. A 400cc streetbike. Looks interesting. But I hope they change the awkward styling now.

            Yes. The styling.. I agree.
            I wouldn't exactly say the styling was "completely hopeless". On first impression, Mojo appeared like a really strange but mature design.
            But the styling was something that made me think that maybe its me, who has a bad taste... It had a "complicated" styling. I'm glad that even others thought that its styling was not good & so, they reinforced my humble opinion.

            Hope Mahindra have learned a lesson by now... Any product should be properly tested & screened before its launch.

                  if we base our guess work on the recently revised and relaunched pantero, we can be assured that styling will not be changed much, just a few touches here and there. and yes it was earlier 300 CC and now it is 390 CC, so probably we could expect some nice performance.

                    390/400 cc sounds good.

                    Wish Mahindra could do something about the oddball styling and the odd sounding name (Mojo) for a motorcycle.. honestly.. seriously.. earnestly

                      Mahindra name their vehicles which end in O. These vehicles are successful. Its their superstition.
                      Eg: Stallio, Centuro, Duro, Scorpio, Bolero, XUV 5OO [double O] Others were not.

                          Interesting. Next thing to see will be the price. But I have a very bad feeling that none of the 3 bikes - Centuro, Pantero or the Mojo will play the VFM tag. Centuro and Pantero will try using their equipment (esp Tacho) to justify higher price, while Mojo now has a higher displacement and an almost proportional increase in power and will use this and the looks to justify ITS higher price.

                          Would be interesting to see if Bajaj snubs Mahindra once again by launching their Pulsar 375 or their Duke 390 right after the Mojo is launched.
                          Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.
