And as for the golden metal parts, black powder coating straight away.

Now just undercut the Duke 390(true competitor) by 50K, and you have a winner on your hands.

And as for people comparing it to Ninja 250, grow up guys.
I gotta agree with you.. This bike is a killer in terms of look. only drawback is the alien eye like head lights.. I am looking forward for this bike for almost 4 years now.. if the bike had hit the roads earlier, then this would have been the most successful bike till date..

The extensive testing and on seeing how the Centuro is selling with all those features. I am sure this bike is going to be a super duper fully loaded machine

For some reason, I feel they are trying to make this a tourer.. the bigger the size of the tank, the more fuel it can hold.. the more fuel it can hold, the longer it can run.. and why is the tank Green?

The bike sure looks better in the side profile and the rear profile.. waiting to see the bike in Auto Expo next month

Its something other than Brembo, Tociko , Nissin or any other famous known brands. Maybe Mahindra created one

OT: I thought their flagship was the XUV!

You are right but i am concerned concerned about two things only. one is very average looking speedometer, even centuro's speedo looks better than this. I know it will be more functional but its very average in looks. Second thing is poor pillion seat. I really don't know why all the manufacturers are trying to punish pillion riders. Look at the rear end of mojo, they can easily extract another 4 inches of space for pillion seat from that looooooong tail of mojo. No body is giving priority to practical aspects. Inazuma was a good bike but suzuki wants inazuma to suicide before its birth. Even hero ZMR's new version is coming with raised and narrow pillion seat pillion.

I fully concur but since they know they are new in the market of motorcycles they are a bit toooo careful.
Remember they had shown us the Mojo photos before CBR's release and then TV adds and Aamir Khan's promo followed. But then CBR was released and they waited, Duke 200 released they still waited and after 390 they are still waiting with a lot of iterations. I believe now the engine displacement stands at 390 from initial 300 ( I maybe wrong here), just to go into the higher bracket and prove their VFM I guess.
Its high time they release and let the market decide its fate specially with the partial success of their lower displacement products.

OT : I simply hate the add of Centuro of that shirtless guy riding a motorcycle - talk about passing the right message.

OOT : Technically XUV is a crossover (X for crossover according to Mahindra nomenclature ) and that's why even the top-end W8 is just AWD , whereas Scorpio is a true SUV which comes with 4wd as optional and is more abuse friendly. Sorry for being a purist.

They just bought a team which was already participating in moto3. Spare cash i guess.
Second: there is no tech transfer agreement with moto3 team.
                      So basically only marketing !
For the launch of mojo: they are not waiting cuz of other launches, some issues with engine development !

Ohh by the way , it aint gonna be class leader in either bhp or torque so they will have to keep it much cheaper than competition.
Meaning cheap components, cheaper electricals cheapest plastic and ofcourse poor manufacturing .

All that said, i pray mahindra proves me wrong. I would be happiest when they launch something really mean!

All I can say is 50 bhp or GTFO and I hope those headlamps come with 55 watt bulbs. If Bajaj releases a 370 cc naked Pulsar around the time of Mojo's release, it might be trouble for Mahindra.
                        I am back!

50 BHP from a single cylinder 300(390???) cc single cylinder which redlines at 8500 RPM.

Honestly speaking its almost impossible to get that sort of power from a single cylinder. KTM with all its know-how and high-revving engine could only produce 39.

How bout I tell you its actually going to be less than 20bhp! Actually might even get below 19bhp in production version. This info is for 300cc earlier beta-test proto

                                Because its first hand!
