My tbts 500 is up for sale. Need some street fun. Jharkhand has only 1 KTM dealer at Bokaro and that too around 180kms from my location. There's no duke in my city. Will check out the 390 soon.

(on a serious note since pillions rarely ever gear up, I've made a point to not take one unless it's a short ride)

Why we are discussing about girlfriend/wife sitting on the rear seat? It's not like all of us has girlfriends/wife. Those who can afford the bike will surely have another bike or car for commuting purpose I think. From a performance point of view, this bike is superb. Anyway I think 390 Duke is not targeted towards family man, it's targeted towards biking enthusiasts. Anyone TR'd it yet? I'm eager to know about the bike's performance from people other than professional reviewers.
            I am back!

Since a male friend won't be too keen on leaning onto or sit too close holding the rider. he normally prefers the grab rails.
Whereas the gf/wife sits with her arms across the rider's torso, safely and comfortable ensconced in that small seat with barely any gap between her and her man in the shining armour
In stop and go traffic where brakes are applied frequently, the pillion tends to fall forward, where the rear seat is a bit raised as compared to the rider's, which is the case with both CBR and duke. But in duke since there would hardly be any gap between the pillion and rider, the pillion doesn't keep on sliding forward. She just rests against the back of the rider. Whereas in case of CBR, the pillion would keep on falling forward which may have lead to a 'flying-in-the-face-of-reason' conclusion from my girl.
              Great Analysis.
Totally Unexpected from Anyone to crack this.

              Keep it Up.

Booked the KTM 390 at the BTM showroom! The bike looks awesome in flesh. Only area of complaint - the wires above the cylinder head are a mess!

Has anyone tried possible feasibility of an adjustable footrest assembly on their 200? For those who feel the foot rest position a bit backwards. A lot of stuff available on net for various bikes, just wanted to know if something like this works efficiently.

the messy wires which everybody has been talkin about, is it visible the moment you look at the bike from sideways?
