              I have a feeling that a lot many of us who are very excited by the RC series will be put off by the riding position after test ride. The most sporty position in Indian market. Pure track bike. No means to do touring since I doubt it will have luggage carrying capabilities with that tail. But the best, sexy and beast looking bike in the Indian market. Looks will attarct more people to this. Mind over matter :-)

                    I had the same doubt.
                    When another member told that he is less than 5'5 and manages to ride an R1 (high seat height ) and I got relieved after that

                    Touring will be done in RC too.If a naked street bike is being tamed by Indian bikers (D390) on the highway so this can be too.

                      Yeah... Me too... Riding.ns is pain in ass...
                      Though the bullet train acceleration makes up for the pain on highways...

                      U shud look at faces of people in cars.. especially fortuner and cruze... When the NS overtakes them @120 kmph!!!

                        and there are some who would just swear by it and buy it to get that weekend supersport thrill at that mouthwatering price (hopefully).
                        Oh yes! Count me in that crowd too!

                            After yesterday's international launch here are some small snippets that i found from the press kit answered by Sebastian Sekira (Head of KTM Street Development) about the top speed.

                            IS THE RC 390 FASTER THAN THE 390 DUKE?
                            The top speed of the RC 390 is higher due to an clearly improved aerodynamic.


                            WHAT IS THE TOP SPEED OF THE RC 390?

                              Nice pics.. I think 175 is low for RC 390 I hope it could do at least 185 - 190 Km speed
