Every Motorcycle has a tale to be told and there is no greater privilage in the life of a rider than to have truly understood what his Motorcycle stands to tell. Some of the greatest stories in the world are not written, they are experienced.

Yes, they share same trellis frame, suspension, exhaust, brakes and everything.

RC390 will be worth the wait in more than one way .

^ Not bad! Did you use P200NS as a base?

This is how the RC390 might look like.

This is a great news for the moto enthusiasts. I just hope that, at least the fully-faired version of the 390cc would yield a better top end.

This marks another turning point/milestone of biking in India. Re: KTM RC 390 launch confirmed for 2014

Umm... why does it make 6 less horsepower than the naked 390 duke?

And I have no idea how does this bike manage to be nearly 15kg lighter than the 390 duke despite being fully faired. The Duke doesn't have any extra bulk to begin with.

Also, this is enough time for Bajaj to wrap up and discontinue CBU/CKD Ninja 300 sales in India. They would be lucky to sell 100 units per year after RC390 is launched.

The bike does look cool. However, I am still skeptical whether people will opt for a motorbike with no pillion seat. However, the 2 Dukes in the market have a decent pillion ride.

Ninja is a class apart bro.. if I was given a choice between these 2.. i would definitely go for the Ninja 300.. the bike sports a sexy design and the build quality is just fantastic..

and I just love that Lime Green color of the Ninja.. besides.. Kawasaki is a Kawasaki Owning a Ninja is like owning a Merc/BMW

Duke on the other hand is like owning a Honda.. see the difference..

This is a race bike, not meant for street riding. The street version will be launched in 2014. Don't expect the same specs .

Power reduction could be either because of race stipulations or something

The production bike would have some changes done. i.e Headlight, side indicators, rear view mirrors and a pillion seat would be added. And the bike wont be as light the race spec bike shown above. KTM is changing the biking scenario at a high rate in India
