    ABS related parts would only cost around 7k to 10k, a lot of the system is already in the bike. You just need the ABS rim, sensors and a couple of other things.

      Price depends on the quality of products used I guess. Bajaj will have to use high quality systems for both the NS and the Duke. Prices of the NS and the Duke are already a turn off to many. Increasing it further would be a very bad idea.

          The price is still one of the biggest concerns. I started off with a budget of 1 lakh with the NS in mind. I had no intention to spend more. Even now, I'm actually not very willing to spend more than 20k over my original budget of 1 lakh. I hope [MENTION=61791]Cleaner[/MENTION]'s estimates are correct . An ex-showroom price of 1.05 - 1.10 lakh. Probable?

            You might get to know the official figures at the expo (hope these bikes are released there) but ya, Bajaj knows the importance of proper pricing and would not makes these machines too costly.

                    The 400SS looks a lot better than the faired one. The faired one's lines are cluttered, I feel they have gone overboard with the design. The naked looks the better IMHO.

                      Great going there.
                      I think these are two different models and not just mere naked/faired version of the same bike as the naked is equipped with USD shocks wheres as the faired one isnt..........

                      Although a 400 is welcome anyday.....

                                Does anyone else feel the indicators[Front] have been placed weirdly on the naked?

                                The tail light of the SS400 is yuck IMHO. Too much bling. The CS400 is sooper hot.
