Those who taunted me about INDIAN BIKE WEEK ,yeah I will take revenge by attending AUTO EXPO2014 ,thanks Delhi
yamaha, etc they just launch their product out of no where ,but bajaj,first spy pics will come ,then they will tease you for months and then the product will launch with noticeable changes then the spy pics, just like happens in iPhone case

Hope the new bike not as disappointing as 5c! Old stuff in New plastic bottle!

An equivalent of motorcycle is this:

200 ns with New cheaper abs body parts (some better alloy parts will go) and all other stay same.

And a new firmware will be launched with it. It can be flashed on to old 200ns with better alloy parts as well

My recent accident happened as I was afraid to apply brakes hard( eorogrip tyre phobia) And hence collided ,I will be happy to pay 10k for abs on my ns

Got a call from the local Bajaj dealer today morning. The guy says that he has no information about the 200cc faired bike but has confirmed that a 350cc bike is coming. He said it will be launched after a few months and that it will take about 6 months to reach the dealership!!! I have no idea whether he is telling the truth or not. Anyways, it's not a good news for many of us

Good news huh? The dealer guy may not be right because he said it's 350cc. He didn't say 375 or 390. And during my last visit he told me that the engine in the BIG Pulsar is Bajaj's own and has nothing to do with the one in the D390

. So I don't trust him that much.

He's lucky that he informed me via phone. Don't worry man. I will give him a hug. The 'Dhritarashtra' hug.

even if it is a bajaj own inhouse engine.. that would also be good.. p 150, 180, P220 has also proved its metal over the time and have proved to be reliable bikes.. I think that new bike should be better compared to the previous engines.. maybe they are using own Engine.. but I can bet on that they would definitely taking help from KTM.. and these dealers will also have half information most of the times.. but there is something in 350 range that is coming up.. the only reason I don't like Duke is because of the position of foot pegs for the rider + the upright sitting posture.. if they move foot pegs little forward.. im in so much favor of Duke as well.. it'll make it good for travelling long rides.. so.. The new pulsar is going to be a sports tourer concept.. which is what I am waiting for ..

I don't think Bajaj will try to make an engine on their own WITH inputs from KTM. I think they would do something similar to what they did in the case of NS. I'm sure that a 350+ cc bike is coming. But the mystery regarding the SS worries me. Btw, the guy said the price will be around 2 lakh!

Dimpy do you expect the 375 to have cruiser like riding posture?

I'm a bit surprised by the fact that, many people here believe that an upright seating posture is not suitable for long rides! But it actually is. A real sports bike is not created with touring in mind. Touring ain't about speed, but about the distance you cover enjoying the sights around you. Even the 'sports tourer' bikes have a relatively upright riding posture for long rides.

I know brother... i hv an avenger and prior to this I had a bullet.. so i know upright is the best pose for long rides.. but my concern is with duke's position of foot pegs.. im a tall guy.. and for me.. on wuld like on a hung state (which i guess is not very comfortable for somebody like me).. now comming to bajaj.. i don't care that from where they copy the engine.. but fact that i'll be able to sit proper (karizma, or cbr like posture).. im fine with that.. or if duke comes up with their duke adventure 390 version (for which rumors are around).. that wud be so awesome thing..

After looking at the pictures, it is pretty easy to make out that the motorbike has a very compact and sporty stance. Bajaj is testing the bike thoroughly throughout the country to check its durability, fuel efficiency and performance over various roads and weather conditions.

The Pulsar 200 SS will come in two variants; the base version won’t get ABS and the top version will feature ABS as standard. There is also a high possibility of Bajaj Auto tweaking the engine to extract some more juice out of it. Since Bajaj is testing the bike in Ooty, we expect it to carry fuel injection. This bike also gets new mirrors and a new tail light. The instrument cluster will feature tall clip-on bars and a large RPM meter with a digital speedo, which is the same as the Pulsar 200 NS.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is expected to be launched in the next couple of months. The Pulsar 200 NS costs approximately Rs. 83,000 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), so the 200 SS is expected to cost slightly more at around Rs. 1.05 lakhs (ex-showroom).

This is good news. Well, the media is now sure that a 200cc SS will be launched. So me, @Rakesh Rok and many others waiting for the 200SS have something to cheer about
