hehe.. Even I had watched many reviews of Bonie past few days, loved the simple, down to eart design. I will be joing the crew of Bonnies, but that gotta wait a few years.

      Ride safe and have fun.

Bonnie surely looks good but I think it may not click for India because for us it is still not classic enough since we have many bikes with those looks running around our country. And it is still overpriced and capacity little large for comfort and maintenance. A 500/600cc Bonnie with price tag of 3.5L would have created a ruffle but not this though it is a classic.

Thruxton is my favourite in Triumphs, though has the almost same engine as Bonneville, i find the looks and the style eyegasmic !

A quick update for people who are interested in booking details. Just got the actual booking receipt with terms and conditions today.

I booked the bike on 19th Dec. Mine is the 30th booking from Bangalore's dealership and the 6th Street Triple in Banagalore.. I guess, the people were way too quick to book the bikes even before the official bookings started.

The official waiting period is said as minimum of 90 days.

Same here. Will get it after 3 years so that I can give the CBR to my son for his college

So the street triple would be approximately 8.9-9 lacs in Mumbai, when it's launched here.Btw is it the street triple R version which has been launched?

Oh wait..what am I doing here in this thread? I can't afford it..sob sob

Just received mail from Bangalore's dealership. The inauguration of the showroom is on 21 January 2014 and bikes will be available for test-ride from the next day.

cant we get a Harley for the price of the bonnie?street 750 on way will make things tough for the bonnie.since both said manufacturers are not about ultimate performance, brand image will be an issue for triumph here compared to Harley.

Damn the road tax of Karnataka. The roadtax+ registration + insurance for D675R can almost buy a new D390. All that hefty road tax for the roads here which can at best be termed as 'POS'.

OT Kawa, one more CKD please...

Interestingly, the sheet that I was sent via mail has higher insurance costs. As I've already booked a Street Triple ABS, this is weird and I don't feel good about this.
