A single disc up front and drums at the rear? Could be some India-specific low-displacement street bike. Doesn't match with anything else in Suzuki's international portfolio. Looks way too Pulsar-sh, and the exhaust seems to be a mismatch for the rest of the bike. Overall the bike looks too small to sport a twin cylinder, though the exhaust suggests otherwise.

Looks funny to me other than the exhaust.. but a good step by Suzuki.. Looks like a 125-150 cc segment. the rear brakes are a normal drum brake so looks like its going to be within 150cc

Good good.. Let the new bike flow
Except the exhaust (which is actually looking good to me) nothing special as per this one pic.
The rear tyre looks thin, maybe 130 section. Could be a 125-150cc bike.
The bike looks ready and we could expect it at the Auto-expo.

Good move by Suzuki India to bring a low displacement bike in their portfolio to stay competitive in the respective segment.

PS - why its saying "Suzuki Gixer" ??..it doesn't have anything related to mighty Gsxr!!

Re: Suzuki Gixer being tested in Noida

i would expect 150cc at-least as they did reach speed of about 125 kmph.

It looks much more trendy than the current bikes offered by suzuki. This might be a better equipped version of the gs150 as the engine looks simillar to it. Presence of monoshock means it wld be premium.

In all probably this could a facelift for the GS150R. The GS itself was a very capable bike, only marred by its outdated looks. Suzuki might have gone for a full facelift to boost the sales of its sole 150cc workhorse.

How was the exhaust note? they were doing 125 Kmph ?? i guess that is the fastest any 150cc bike in India (other than the R15) has done.. probably a facelifted and a bit more power to the existing GS150 Engine

At least bajaj is way ahead than SuZuki when it comes to bike testing.bajaj bikes are soo much camouflaged that the product you see in testing and while launch takes your breath away, seeing these pics I'm sure the launch bike will be 99% same, as everything is neat, clean like a new Bike and no signs of hiding things. ..

could be.... but the name gixer is very much visible on the bike.... hence the topic heading says "suxuki gixer".....

the exhaust note was just like most 150cc bikes in india....

"Gixer" is a misnomer and poor choice of name for a commuter. The word Gixxer evolved as an acronym of GSX-R - Suzuki's series of superbikes, which have nothing in common with this mixer

Seriously WOW is my reaction seeing this, . . I guess it might be another of those GS150 v2 or similar . . . The whole bike looks kinda good for me, though as mentioned by many looks more like a pulsar ish, hope they will be showcasing this at the Auto Expo and release it soon. . . With this at least I hope Suzuki can gain some share in the market. . . Waiting eagerly for this bike, hope the pricing is also kept right, . .

BTW was a twin cylinder required for this . . ?

                              Cheers!!!
