You can expect the bike to be even more comfy, monoshock, comparatively longer wheelbase (at least by the looks of it) and very good styling. I think Suzuki has the right ingredients to spice up the 150 cc segment, which is becoming an yesteryear phenomena. Case in point looking closely, you might even see the perimeter frame-ish styling which all states that Suzuki has indeed been listening to its customers for the right mix.

This should be aimed towards the younger breeds and the 18-30 and the mid range bracket, but I don't think Suzuki disappointed in any of the bikes/scooters that it sold. If you've observed the statistics the GS150 didn't do quite well, but it still had a good history w.r.t the segment leaders. That being said, I think Suzuki has set its hopes high with this bike. Let's all wait till the Auto Expo for more drum rolls.

    Cheers!

If they were taking the bikes to the expo they should have been coming from noida to greater noida but it was the other way around..... 😝

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

        THE END

The name drew me to this thread!

On a completely unrelated and off-topic note. Suzuki has sold one million Gixxers worldwide: GSXR1000, GSXR750, GSXR600, apart from Hayabusa. These 4 bikes are well known to all of us, but Suzuki has some really nice bikes in the Street/Sport category as well.

I am completely sold on the GSX650F. Sweet looking blue-white, 4 cylinder, 656 cc. I think this is a perfect bike for India.
The Bandit 650S is also nice. Why doesn't Suzuki India bring these bikes.

Re: Suzuki Gixer being tested in Noida

As a Gixxer, err sorry - GS150R owner, I notice a few things:

              1. Monoshock in rear.
              2. Front disc on the RHS as opposed to Suzuki's favorite LHS placement.
              3. For me, the engine looks different - Oil filter cover has 2 nuts instead of 3 in GS150R?
              4. Stubby exhaust looks too good. SMIL's fetish for exhaust chrome never fades .
              5. probably, this vs GS150R = Dazzler vs Unicorn.

Re: Suzuki Gixer being tested in Noida

Some Indian manufacturers don't test their bikes in India or they do the same very smartly. I am sure they are ready to launch this new 150cc naked bike as I can see the suzuki written on rear number plate which means it was going for advertisement shoot or something. Bike is looking tasty and fresh. I hope they will price it below fz16 which is king of 150cc segment. Kudos to suzuki for giving this surprise and a modern 150cc bike with all the bells and whistles required for this segment.

It's false mate as I have posted a link above, there is a launch of two motorcycles taking place by Mahindra in two days' time, i.e., 27, so just keep your fingers crossed and hope that this bike is launched that day. . .

I do sense a small feeling that this is one of those launches which will take place on 27th . . .

                            Cheers!!!

Ahhh damn it, yes it's Suzuki, sorry . . . I just had a look at the Centuro now and had a test ride of it, for my friend. . . So, in that mood wrote it as Mahindra instead of Suzuki . . .
