Re: Suzuki Gixer being tested in Noida

Engine is air cooled, the fins are clearly visible. The gasket (The cap actually, pl correct me if I am wrong with terminology) of the engine looks very similar (same!) as GS150R.

This should definitely be the face-lift GS150R. It is an open chain bike, or may be Suzuki following suite of Honda, they have Unicorn in their stable and then they launched Dazzler with same engine, more power and cosmetic changes. Its all speculations, its fun to have so many speculations coming in, isnt it?

          For looks maybe
          Certainly not a twin.
Overall, better than what Suzuki offers at present.

            Gixxer? Come-on mayn !!
I opened this thread expecting a Baby GSX-R (as per the rumors about Suzuki making a baby GSX-R). I didn't expect a commutter to be called a Gixxer !!

the bike actually looks good. This will be a good option in commuter segment if launched and the news is true.

Subject 'Gixer' confused me, but exhaust is looking nice to me, looks like a 150cc segment bike, suzuki really need a product apart from GS150....

Yup sure, the exhaust, the bike's overall design looks neat and good for me. . .
@Sal seriously I also opened this page thinking about the baby-Gixxer, GSX150R, but after I opened it that I came to know this is a GS and not a GSX . . .

                  Cheers!!!

It looks like a mixture of the Twister, Xtreme and the NS!!!!
But still its looking much better than xtreme and trigger....

So finally suzuki"s R&D team has started working again...

Aircooled engine, rear drum..... Monoshock, 120 spec tires.... Unicorn got competition. But hey, 125kmph? Seriously? With Suzuki's known smoothness, 100 might be the crusing speed. If priced right, can kill Unicorn/Extreme, which go out of breath at 100kmph.. I guess, it might be a 180 or so.....
                      But "Gixxer"? Seriously?

                          That Exhaust !
Good to see Suzuki taking some efforts on the design front. Definitely a lower capacity bike.

Could be a 250 as well. I was told by some friends in the industry (not working for Suzuki, so not 100% credible) that Suzuki is launching 4 new bikes in 250-800cc class at Auto Expo. This could be one of them.
