2 bikes to be launhced. Hope its the GIXER and the scooter instead of INAZAMU which still didn't have a formal launching yet.

Let's hope Suzuki doesn't launch a mascot for children.

I am already disappointed by a small 150cc Gixer! For me a Gixxer will always be a 1000cc superbike.

I guess rural India consider Honda to be Indian product, thanks to market penetration of erstwhile Hero-Honda duo. Kawasaki, Suzuki & Yamaha sounds alien to them despite being from same origin country. Both Suzuki & Yamaha register almost same sale figures; Suzuki in scooters, Yamaha in bikes.

What happened to Kawasaki in India?

              Wrong thread, buddy!

There's already a thread for 2013 sales figures

This Gixer can very well replace the good ol' Thunder 125, sold in South-East Asia

Wow! They had such a beautiful product, why they never launched it in India? What harm it would have done?

may be this is a naked version of their GSX-R 150

I find ZMR's rear discs to be quite forgiving and not so sharp... in my RTR FI it used to lock up often at high speed stops for like every 8 out of 10 times I hit it while in ZMR its like 1 out of 10 times

A simple mod, by changing the rear mudflap with a pulsar 200NS and its a pretty decent bike

The headlamp unit looks more or less like the one on P135 and the rear looks a little like of the SZ-R. Anyways it looks good and can give the FZ a run for its money in terms of its naked looks. I believe Suzuki is following Honda's and Yamaha's strategy. Looks like they are using the same 150cc block powering the GS150R to give the mass market a stylish product to appeal the youth category. Its like Unicorn and Dazzler story all the way except for we don't know if this one will be a little more powerful than the GS. And I guess they are using the GSX name to create a false impression of the bike. Our janata always fall for that. The same way Yamaha did with the R15 using R1 (No offence to the R15)!

150cc cornering like hell is great!

He's referring to a model which might look like Honda CBR 150R or Yamaha YZF15, liquid cooled, blah blah. Which might not show up altogether.
Apparently, above Gixxer lines up with Yamaha FZ16 or Honda Trigger.

Even if they come out with it in 4th quarter it'll be a great news to Suzuki followers.

But they did make R15 really good in terms of performance (handling, refinement).

If Suzuki can deliver on the performance part, with a mix of style, they can have a winner at their hands.
