Yeah seriously !!! Hope Yamaha don't make Doga the head.
Now where has the sense of humour gone? How did you survive the 4 years of BE(you told me you were an IT guy?) without humour/sarcasm?
That comment was made in jest and @chaosaddict got it so he didn't feel peeved at his beloved yammie's brand value and market being 'downgraded'.

Btw I am looking at R25 as a possible upgrade so I'll keep on visiting this thread and post the odd non kosher comment, so Yammie fans please bear with me.

Any clue when Yamaha might release an official word about this bike?

Oh and if I am made the head of yamaha then I'd do this :

1)Launch an inline 4 R400 or something which would be an absolutely uncompromised track oriented offering(May be to break the back and shoulders of all yammie fans out here who ride it each day on hour crater filled roads)
    2) Launch the FZ-09 in India without delay.
    3) Kneel down at the feet of Arun Jaitely to ease the draconian custom structure for imported bikes(which doesn't make sense at all, since unlike cars we don't have local players making higer cc bikes). So an R1 at 8-9 lacs. An R6 at around 6-7 lacs
    4) Setup plants to manufacture the bigger bikes here, even if it doesn't make business sense.
    5) Give xbhp members 50% discount on all purchases

PS: not an expert view, just out of experience from single and twin cylinder rides I can say that. Lets see what experts say.
Your honour, I object. If you're not an expert then who is? And yes, if the bike can do 154 kmph ODO at 11k RPM, it can certainly do 170+ kmph.

it is doing 154kmph at 11K rpm.
So at redlining which at 14K rpm+(if i am not wrong) one will fly away till 190kmph on odo reading
190 kmph seems a bit more, don't you think. But yes 180+ kmph maybe possible. Anyways to attain such speeds, we've to do Bangalore-Pune every month. And I guess the service interval will be around 5-6k kms.

And yea, it may touch such speeds. It still got 3k more to go and hasn't touched the peak power, so 20-25 km/H more will be easily done.

    Mauja hi mauja
Yes, 180+ kmph to pakka possible.

We will continue to strive to offer better suited products to the Indian buyer and hope that these ecu 'alterations' are welcomed by them"

Right now, I am dreaming of crouching & riding the Yammie (re-imagining myself in motoGP):
    ICON gears
    GoPro mounts all over
    Monster Energy
    Yamalube Decals
    ICON lid
    Two Brothers/Leo Vince SBK pipes
    BMC aftermarket

    ...& chicas checkin' me out

Sigh, if only it wasn't a dream!

Mast pic dala re Nadim bro (trans: mindblowin' pic). I think that 11k rpm reading has triggered the infamous - "mann mein laddoo futa" syndrome.
