Visited KTM to check the duke 200.. Spotted the RC.. Thought it would be good for me to wait.. I did test ride the duke and found the sitting hard to getting adjusted to.. However, I did sit on the RC 390 on display.. It was easier for me to get accustomed to and I actually liked it.. I'm ~5.11...

A couple of things.. The 200 may be good for traffic.. Short gearing.. However there's one bad thing I spotted... The ORVMs... It cannot be adjusted.. Say you are sitting straight and want to take a look behind, you gotta sleep on the tank.. Awkward when on traffic.. If it were slightly adjustable.. It would be great.. And as usual.. No leg guard.. But the Duke does offer a pretty small one..

I'll book her tomorrow..

I really loved the rear tail, indicators and brake lights, the DRLs, ORVM mounted blinkers.. Projectors... Just sexy...

Hopefully.. But to differentiate the 200 from the 390.. The 200 comes in black only and the 390 in white.. However we got some overpriced stickering options which are no good than the stock (just my opinion) and custom ones made locally are 1000 times better.. Cheap and You get to choose your own design!!!

That is true. But they can come up with black with different sticker work or vinyls. Local stickers are available at what price?

Someone at the showroom (a customer) said that its about 350 per square meter or something.. Good for covering the tanks and the rear of duke..

It will cost more for the RC as it has more places to use stickers on.. And I love stickers...

I was mainly interested in the city road conditions part.. He made two contradicting statements.. First he said that its not easy on back and wrists and also he said that its good as the rider doesn't feel any stress due to its front suspension... Seriously did I understand correct or I missed something.. The reviewer talks some words low and some words on high pitch.. The music overtakes and some words are lost... Pretty bad for a first ride review...

I think it will be better than the stickers offered by ktm at premium price tag. I mean for the price the quality of the local stickers will be good

Don't know about r15.. But this RC was comfortable..

And yes the local stickers are just perfect and more better than the overpriced "imported" stickers...

I got stickers on my unicorn for the past 3+ years and nothing ever happened to it... It is just beautiful... Until some vagabond near my home peeled a part of it happily revealing the unicorn Honda wing.. [emoji35]

Ktm showroom guy told me that i can test ride the RC tomorrow. Not sure. And hope pillion seat is good. I mean from point A to B atleast...

I won't get a test until 20 days and I'm still booking it.. damn.. shoot me between my eyes.. going in for the blind luck thing.. anyways, all the best and please share with us your experience and how it felt.. whether its okay for the city and traffic.. I know the 200's engine is perfect for the city.. the riding position?? Need your inputs..

Sure thing. Engine is the same but on road everything will be different because of the riding position. I can adjust with the seats too..

And about the blind luck....one of my friend booked r15 v2.0 even before seeing it. But once he got it, he was happy.

I'm 6'4 guys. Do you think either of these bikes will suit me?

I'm looking for a bike that I am comfortable on and not look like a Girrafe sitting on a skinny Zebra.

Heard that tall guys can comfortably ride the RC but cant confirm until you take a test ride.

It may not be comfortable since its is track oriented but sure it will be enjoyable.

Test drove rc 390 today alongside ninja 300... man rc scares the shit outta ninja.. n the exhaust note is absolutely amazing..
Also price difference between the two vast
Rc here in nashik costs 2.06 lacs while ninja cost 4.1 lacs

After driving 390 my 200ns feels more like a 150cc bike nw :/
