How long did you drive bro? Was it good in city traffic?? What's your height and how comfortable did you feel in the cockpit??Originally posted by vivek7593 View PostTest drove rc 390 today alongside ninja 300... man rc scares the shit outta ninja.. n the exhaust note is absolutely amazing..
Also price difference between the two vast
Rc here in nashik costs 2.06 lacs while ninja cost 4.1 lacs

After driving 390 my 200ns feels more like a 150cc bike nw :/

Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
Kinda hard for me to test ride it since the nearest KTM dealer is 100 Kms away from my home. Also my mom thinks I'm still a small child and won't let me go 20 Kms from my home. She gets paranoid as soon as I go somewhere and doesn't settle until I come back. That's why I am asking here to people who have good experience on bike like this (R15 etc.).Originally posted by Vysakh.M.S View PostHeard that tall guys can comfortably ride the RC but cant confirm until you take a test ride.
It may not be comfortable since its is track oriented but sure it will be enjoyable.
If anyone does test ride any one of these bad boys please do share with us how the ride quality and seating is. Thanks a lot!

Riding stance is aggressive.. i would say almost like r15... The streeing is alot different when compared to d390.. by different i mean the angle or positioning of handle is aggressive..Originally posted by Vysakh.M.S View PostVivek, can u tell the experience in deep?? Exhaust note is similar to duke 390 right? Didn't you test ride rc200?
Didnt get a chance to ride as pillon...
But looking at the pillion seat i would say it may not be very comfortable for long tours as he/she will also be inclined towards the rider .. and also the left and right side of pillion seat act as disguised grab rails for pillion rider..
I test drove rc 390... exhaust note sounded little deep compared to d390..
Rc 200 yet to come here.. but its similar to rc390 only difference of engine and color scheme..
Again i could try it out for maybe 10 kms thats it.. what caught my attention was the price tag and features offered
Its a vfm package I would say.. build quality was solid and no of the fibre felt filmsy or weak.. no rattling noise also..
One handy feature they have given is hook between pillon and rider seat for mounting bungee cords ( its a guess... the showroom guy didnt know about it)
Tyres are downright brilliant.. Handling is sharp.. Suspension is on stiffer side.. I guess gearing is also on shorter side ( dnt know much about gearing when compared with ninja on way back ninja felt more linear in power delivery where as rc had peppy power delivery )

I drove for approx 10kmsOriginally posted by Ajay Vishwanath View PostHow long did you drive bro? Was it good in city traffic?? What's your height and how comfortable did you feel in the cockpit??

And its was slightly outside city..
Level of comfort depends in ones preferences..
The seat hunkered down and hard and small imo
I prefer myself to be constantly at the edge of bike while driving .. i am 5,8 and i was comfy enough
I would say if you drive in heavy traffic youll experience pressure on youre wrist and shoulders..
Its almost like driving a r15 in traffic..

Hooks for bungee cord? That is good. But this machine isn't for touring right? Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
That is sad to hear. Well, the ride will be aggressive and wont be pillion friendly. On city, these machines wont be flickable as duke. And shoulder and wrist may pain. But will get used to it after couple of rides.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostKinda hard for me to test ride it since the nearest KTM dealer is 100 Kms away from my home. Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
That's actually like a handle bar for the pillion to hold on to.. that's what the showroom guy & another guy (a customer) told me it's for..Originally posted by vivek7593 View PostOne handy feature they have given is hook between pillon and rider seat for mounting bungee cords ( its a guess... the showroom guy didnt know about it)

Are you guys referring to the grab rails underneath the seat or anything between the rider seat and pillion seat??Originally posted by Ajay Vishwanath View PostThat's actually like a handle bar for the pillion to hold on to.. that's what the showroom guy & another guy (a customer) told me it's for..VyshuVysakh

Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
Not the grabrails.. those grabrails have no grip.. I'll have some rubber there for some grip.. we are talking about the metal ring type between the rider & pillion seats..

Never noticed it. Both sides right?? Well, they could have given the grabrails some grip. But need not complain as it is value for money ride...Originally posted by Ajay Vishwanath View PostNot the grabrails.. those grabrails have no grip..
