Technical agreemet, similar to the agreement DSK has with Hyosung. Assembling here and manufacturing as well at the same plant where Hyosung is assembled.
300cc - 1 bike
600cc -2 bikes
1130cc - 1 bike
all these are going to be CKD

DSK Benelli will be introducing a wider range of motorcycles after seeing the reception these bikes get in India. Currently bikes will be CKD, in future localization and manufacturing might also happen. India maybe made one of the many export hubs for Benelli.
One of the motorcycles is 899cc. All the bikes launched in India are Fi.

Prices have not been disclosed as yet, but the company claims that it will be extremely competitively priced.

8 showrooms will be opened by January and 20 by 2015 year end.

DSK planning a separate facility for assembling Benelli. 10 bikes per day. 250 per month and 500 per month with two shifts in the existing plant facility. As demand increases sufficiently, a new assembling/ manufacturing facility will also be operational.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Lower displacement and more fuel efficient bikes planned specifically for Indian market. But these bikes will have the Italian spirit!!!
All the 5 bikes displayed today will be launched within the next 2 months.
Fully faired bikes like the Tornado will be launched later depending on the response from the Indian market.
A mass segment product in the 200cc category will also be launched later.
Superbike spirit in commuter bikes is the mantra!!!

If Benelli does well in the indian market then a less than 200cc capacity motorcycle could also be launched.
A scooter might also be launched for India.

DSK wants to make 50cc to 1600cc two wheelers in India.
If Benelli support DSK, then 10 years down the line all villages and towns will have Benelli scooters as well!
