Its just the perspective of every Indian that Chineese are cheap-item makers . Hope that impression changes.

chinmayakar: iPhones look and appear fantastic because the quality is supervised by Apple.. Likewise for Suzuki Inazuma, it is made by Suzuki in China... it's not made by a Chinese company which is the case with Benellis (at least upto 600cc).. there's a difference.
TheArcher84: Don't be so quick to ridicule Indians.. It's the perception of all major countries in the world that Chinese make cheap products.. quality and price wise both. They aren't Japan

Buddy, I am also part of it, I am targetting the people who says this, Not all have this ridiculous impression about the Chineese. I have a HTC made in China and it has been serving me for the last 3 years with no hassle. I am hoping that 'The Indians' who talk rubbish about chineese product would have their impression changed about our neighbouring country. I meant no offense. Sorry if i had

I have no idea about the DSK-Hyosung service tie-up. Heard people faced lots of difficulties. Hope DSK has their service line-up sorted well ahead.

I agree that a lot products manufactured in China are of good quality. This is more an issue of 'designed in China'. iPhones are designed at Apple and are manufactured in China with fantastic QC enforced. The smaller Capacity Benellis are designed in China as well as manufactured there, which raises valid doubts about their quality.

But the Xiaomi and the One Plus One and the Oppo are made by the Chinese, and tell me they are bad.

On a different note: spoke to the Bangalore Benelli folks and the on-road price for 600i is expected to be around 5.5 ~ 5.8. He was 100% confident it wouldnt touch 6L on-road bangalore.

Making phones is different than making motorcycles. And Chinese do not have a single motorcycle/motorcycle company that is decent. They are rather known to shamelessly copy designs of popular motorcycles and still make crap.

I did not want to ridicule the Chinese owned Benelli. But I do have a legit concern about their overall quality. And I would say that not everything Italian is exotic (especially in the case of Benelli now). And Benelli is definitely not a Ducati or an MV, it never was.

It was, at one time sir.
Just read the history.
And to the right people, it still holds appeal.

And the Chinese Benelli s my not be good, but there's no reason to hate on the Italian built ones. ie the 899, the 1130 and the trek amazonas 1130.

I repeat that I do not hate Benelli. I just have a genuine concern about their quality. Of course we can't be sure as yet how good or bad they are going to be. So my concern and thoughts are more or less my opinion right now.
HyperRetard: I am aware that in another thread you mentioned about your interest in getting an 899. Please do not let my side of arguments discourage you from getting it or piss you off in any way. You never know even I might like it enough in future.. Peace out.

And it may turn out that I may not like it even.
All that we are doing here now is just speculation.
There is absolutely no doubt that it is going to be an underdog.
There are far more established players in the market at this point in time.
Its just that people jumping the gun and making generalizations without even going within a 100 feet of the bike that gets my goat.

And my interest is just academic. I'm too poor to even afford a CT100 right now.

Anyways, peace brother. (As much as I love getting into keyboard battles, its just not worth it at this point in time)

The difference between the 899 and the 1130 cant be that small.
