RE is surely trying to create a wave these days. First with the Thunderbird and Continental series and now this yet-to-be-launched Himalyan series. Tourers won't mind.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

That looks like a big circus motorcycle! Hope the real product is not even close to this one. With RE hiring Pierre Terblanche, I expect better. The way you ride is the way you are..

it is actually a very tough task to design an adventure tourer for royal enfield, coz if they try to make it look a part of the RE family, it would look like a circus bike and if they design a proper adventure tourer, it wont look like a part of RE family.
AND, an adventure tourer that sounds like a bullet, dug-dug-dug...

re: Royal Enfield Himalayan Unveiled!
I won't take a second look of any new bikes from RE if they come with that signature look of top cylinder head and bottom crankcase.
IMO the continental GT is a flop and was bound to be though it is kind of a looker. The RE guys sometimes let the classic success story get to their head and start prancing on all fours!
Simply, they are bullet people and should stick to it.
