Looks like anybody with a pen and paper can now render a bike. ..
it looks like a serious joke... RE will only fool itself if it comes out with such a design...with the new designer Pierre Terblanche on board....we should see something stunning, not like a makeover off-roading bike....

The spy pic doesn't appear to be anywhere close to an adventure bike. Looks close to a scrambler at best, and aren't those rear suspensions and headlamp/instrument console bits from the GT? I doubt this is a mod-job on a continental GT.

Thanks for that update - I had my doubts about the image - especially since the rear suspension and the headlamp/instrument console were a direct lift from the GT.

What a pity!!!! I can do a much better photoshop job than those blokes.

IMO, they should make EFI mandatory and ABS an option across all models.

Also, refine the engine for more power to weight ratio. not make it a racing bike per se, but i look at the CBR250 and it has more power, and almost same torque at 250cc...

obviously, i admit its japanese engg and everything, but still..

anyway, its just my opinion, you guys are free to argue against it

I seriously doubt the credibility of source here. This does not look like a test mule at all! Rather a nice mod job. Could you see the dust and dirt near engine? Usually test mules are camouflaged and new looking.

Moreover, monoshocks are still advanced enough technology for RE to reject them outright!!!

This is certainly not a mod job. Look at the engine closely, it is completely different and probably liquid cooled, as I can see few coolant pipes. Plus the engine also has the RE logo, so it has to be from the RE stable.

I feel this the first attempt of RE to convince and invite those who like modern and not always vintage/classic stuff all their life more to follow I guess...challenge for Triumph,HD and others

This definitely looks like a Adventure Tourer than a scrambler. imagine the front with glass fairing and this would definitely have a proportion of an adv tourer . Is it my eyes fooling or does the rider look puny respect to respect of the bike. The frame looks from the rear like a double cradle with engine as a stressed member.

to me it looks like a scrambler version of cafe racer with some changes and a 220 like exhaust can strapped to it.

c,mon RE, a liquid cooled engine please with soft suspension and long travel in front forks.
