@ others, one reason I feel cheated by KTM = ABS. When Bajaj can do a ABS for just 10k more, why can't KTM?? that too commanding a premium of 50K above the pulsar ABS, what did I pay that 50k for?? I'm not even asking for Metz, just ABS man!! Come on KTM!! You gotta be kidding me!!

I am seriously considering myself to buy this bike. I'm already riding a pulsar 180 for like 4 years and completely satisfied by it's nice performance and very low maintenance. My budget is max to max 1.5 lakhs. My first choice was R15 for its jaw dropping looks but with the compromise on performance. But this one seems to be cool in both performance as well as looks plus average is a surplus too. What do you guys think?

I just cant understand why bajaj listed it as SINGLE CHANNEL ABS in Spec sheet,while the High resolution pics clearly shows sensor wire and slots/holes ( i dont know the name...whatever it is

) in rear disc. And is there any switch to turn ABS off? I cant find any in the cluster..

Single channel actually means the abs function will only prevent the front wheel from locking. (single "channel" here refers to the hydraulic channel).
The rear wheel speed sensor is to prevent rear wheel liftoff by modulating front wheel braking. It will not prevent the rear wheel from locking because the rear brake is not connected to the abs hydraulics.

^ Yes FI should work as expected. Meanwhile see evidence of front braking given priority (but that is correctly intended IMO.)
The front brake line on RS 200 is braided steel:

While the rear is conventional rubber hose (at least it LOOKS like rubber hose, can't say if it is steel hose covered with rubber):

your RC is nearly 30 kilo lighter than the RS200.

and once you've ridden the RS and you have something to compare your RC to.. you've won't feel cheated.

^^ so that means you cant do stoppies on this bike, coz ABS will not let that happen and you can't switch off ABS.

I would love to see this bike in flesh as the bike is looking nice in the snaps. Just waiting for the bike to come to the dealer here in my city. Lets see by when they get this bike at there end.

There was one more thing I like to add up here the abs version is priced so perfect for this bike well It is the first time that bajaj has gone ahead with a abs. My eyes are eagerly waiting for the next update for avanger.

IMHO. I think the what Bajaj uses as per their description on their site is Uber-responsive single-channel front ABS. Single channel means that it only has only one sensor. It can only detect wheel lock ups and acts upon only on front wheel while braking.

Okay, people telling me about weight of the vehicle, does 20 kgs matter? I dunno, just asking, coz what if I'm 20 kgs more than normal me? does that equate out?

Less weight = better power to weight ratio, more performance AND better fuel economy, better and more nimble handling, lesser tire wear.

If you were 20kg more than your normal self, you would lose 20kg worth of gains on the RC200 and you'd lose 20kg worth of gains on the RS200 as well, if you owned that.
