If the elaborate arrangements for the launch are any indication, Honda seems to be betting big on the Hornet 160r! It is anyways a big segment for anyone to not take it seriously!

IMO, Honda has put a lot at stake with the launch of Hornet. Specially the mobile app is something unique. Price is competitive enough but looks are nothing new.
Lets hope Hornet has a good market here.

They learnt something from Gixxer's success. Product looks nice.
Somewhere I read that it does not have engine kill switch. I am not whining, but trying to understand what makes Honda not to give that in a premium product.

If that is the case I am sad for them. They are not confident enough to add a engine kill switch with decades of experience.
