    i thought all tank bags are magnetic. anyways, non magnetic bags can be used if its not too heavy.

    otherwise console will get crushed on bumps.

      Yes, in that case the rider should find some measures to o prevent it from happening. Of course, if the Tank bag is tight enough, it won't break it..

        One question I've never got a concrete answer for is - does the triple Spark really help mileage wise? Seems like only Bajaj has that tech.

            It does have some significance else TVS wouldn't have copied the same tech in their Flame and after long legal battle have to withdraw the bike... BTW Royal enfield does use these tech...

            The first twin spark engine was featured in an Alfa Romeo racing car in 1910 and has been incorporated in commercially produced cars since 1950.

            For layman, Wikipedia have some articles.

              As far as the fe of this bike my guess why not let's all of us guess I say 23 in city... and 15 on highway. As the company is claiming 30. Then just simple reduce 10 automatically. I.e. 20 in hand.

                  Does'nt Bajaj Dominar 400 is a direct threat to Honda CBR 250R /150R and Yamaha R15V2/V2S ?? I think the price and the specs are quite putting its horn to Yammy and Honda !

                    yes it is a threat. for me as an R15 owner i am contemplating getting one.

                    R15 or cbr will still find takers cause Japanese reliability and quality, nimble handling and of course full fairing. thus bike is meant for enthusiasts and for them r15 offers what dominar cant replicate. ppl getting for looks will be much better served with r15 version 2.

                        this bike has the same KTM ENGINE which is doing duty in KTM D 390, OR Bajaj has developed a new engine for this bike, please advise me I do not about technical aspects of engines.

                          It's the same engine with a different state of tune. I don't think they went for any cost cutting on piston material or anything as such
