Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
No bikes in our city. Sorry. Cant go and check. have to rely on info from Others.Originally posted by JS16 View PostPlease go check yourself. This is a thread where people suddenly found ktm seats comfortable lol
Thanks for the info Bud. Will try to check it out in person, when this thing arrives in my City.Originally posted by ani2607 View PostYes. The front of the bike is way too wide. And the pillion seat is very narrow. The front seat is alright. My grouse with the pillion seat earlier was that it looks vertically inclined but that is not the case. The pictures, I think, are rather misleading. Though the pillion won't be comfortable sitting on it, atleast he won't slip forward on braking everytime. Also we weren't allowed to sit on the bike. But anyway I am 6' and waist is 32. The test rides were supposed to start from today. Will go back to the showroom next week again.

First guy to ride the bike in traffic
Also Someone on team-bhp has done a close up review of the bike and there are a few quality issues in paint and squeaks and rattles in some places. Not as hyped as excellent as mentioned by the media reviewers. Not bad too.

Team-bhp members were only ranting about the bike. Please go check the bike in real. The finishing is top class. There's a reason nobody calls tbhp to bike launches, this is one of them. There are people who think they know everything but don't know anything.

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
Considering that I have read threads in both xbhp and team bhp about this bike from the start most of the posts on team bhp are positive. Some of them became negative only when TVS started lagging in providing bikes even to the few select dealerships that they chose (I saw the same change in tenor even in xbhp).Originally posted by JS16 View PostTeam-bhp members were only ranting about the bike. Also seeing as the OP in team-bhp had posted his observations with photos I am not sure how anyone can doubt it (it could be that he got to review a bike that was not transported properly to the showroom or had a QC issue).
Also, why would anyone call them to bike launches when most of those guys are car enthusiasts. The bikes they own are generally in >600+ cc category.
I have personally found them to be amazing in car reviews as they are one of the only guys who provide all the shortcomings of each and every product (unlike those biased media reviews and some fanboys on this forum). It is not impossible to believe that one or more bikes had a small slip up in QC ..I am sure it happens to even the best manufacturers ( I own an RTR200....it definitely happens to TVS too).
Finally seeing that they always stand up for consumer rights (street triple detuning issue, Kawasaki palm beach etc..) I am glad that they exist.
Oh and the best part....the guy who wrote the review owns a RTR160 (100k run) and probably looking to upgrade.
Sorry for the OT post @mods but even though I am not a member of team bhp I couldn't help but defend those who take the time to post content to help others.Last edited by Dovahkiin; 01-10-2018, 12:30 AM.

Oh I read that funny review (If you like to call it that!) Which he rode in a yard at 20kmph.Originally posted by Dovahkiin View PostConsidering that I have read threads in both xbhp and team bhp about this bike from the start most of the posts on team bhp are positive. Also the motorcycles were test batch vehicles produced in November. Heck the media bikes were produced on 29 Nov 2017.
I am a part of Tbhp from 2008 and i very well know if they are biased or not! I can also post how much I love my Ducati 848 and my Non existent Nissan GTR.
Idk if people pretend to be blind or they are blind, because when i see those motorcycles I can definitely say those aren't on sale for a reason.
I would say, that jealousy is a bad thing. And when people start nitpicking that way, it only means tvs has created a winner.
And talking about ownerships, We'll get to that later.
Sorry mods please delete if necessary. I am a part of Tbhp and I very well know what that forum is all about.Last edited by JS16; 01-10-2018, 05:16 AM.

No cross forum talk please, brothers!
Let's keep this forum relevant to 2 wheelers and not deviate. I'd love to see someone with good rapport and contacts to compile a similar list for this forum. And I hope it's a neutral party, not someone close to TVS, so that we get an unbiased review.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
Maybe OT, but just my POV. It is always important to have the right perspective when reviewing/ comparing a product. Here we have a fully faired 300cc motorcycle costing Rs. 2 lakhs, and this is the first fully faired product from TVS. It is impossible to expect zero panel gaps, etc. Heck, I would expect a few panel gaps even in a Ducati Panigale.
However, if TVS can provide a Mechanically niggle free and reliable machine from the get go, then that would be a win for TVS.

I am sure they have got a very strong positive response from customers and hence struggling to deliver against large demand. This is to be expected for any new product in first 2-3 months. After that definitely it will stabilize.Originally posted by drdanishkhannew.540 View PostNo bikes availabke in Lucknow.. First it was End of Decemeber then 1st week january and now they are saying End of Jan.. TVS sure is taking their sweet time..
It is better if they take more time but don't compromise on anything and deliver a well built product rather than hurrying into it and ending up with negative comments from initial buyers.

All the ranting he did was by riding a bike which will be delivered to another customerOriginally posted by JS16 View PostOh I read that funny review (If you like to call it that!) Which he rode in a yard at 20kmph.

. Its not fair to do a TD on a bike other than specifically allotted for the same.

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
Hello my dear biker brothers. This is my first post here. Today checked out TVS Apache RR 310 , well I was impressed. Below are few of my observations
1. Looks huge and sharp. Can be called baby Panigale
2. Red color is hot, but black was too dull and does not suit the bike.
3.Seating posture is balanced and I think touring comfortably is possible.
4.Fit and finish for money you pay is top notch. I see some people expecting a Daytona level finish, we need to be realistic.
5.Exhaust is a eyesore on otherwise sharp design.
6.Attitude of sales people in showroom was pathetic. TVS need to train them, this is not a starcity or jupiter. They need to understand the target audience are totally different and like to be pampered.
Finally I can say TVS made a praiseworthy effort.
Here is a small video of my impressions.

TVS Apache RR310 wins the Autocar India Bike of the Year!!! I am sure the bike must be a winner, but an award to a bike that has not even reached any actual buyer yet seems a bit far fetched!!

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
The showroom guy in one of the video said expect a mileage of 20-25 kmpl in the city. Isn't that too less !? How much does Duke 390 gives !? And further Duke 390 is a 400 cc engine and this one is a 300 cc engine.

that's probably the biggest joke of the year!!Originally posted by svbhende View PostTVS Apache RR310 wins the Autocar India Bike of the Year!!!
it's all been media hype.
giving an award to a bike that hasn't yet hit the roads
.. i've lost respect for a lot of these auto journalism/magazines.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
my comments above in boldOriginally posted by jeevan.chaukar View PostI am sure they have got a very strong positive response from customers and hence struggling to deliver against large demand. This is to be expected for any new product in first 2-3 months. After that definitely it will stabilize.
They definitely have got a good response, i agree.. i am also one of them who was impressed with what they had to offer. That apart, I don't agree with the 'struggling to deliver against large demand' -- how many bookings have they got and how many have they delivered ??? Have they been able to deliver at least 50 bikes all over India ? Have they even been able to provide test rides to the common man??
It is better if they take more time but don't compromise on anything and deliver a well built product rather than hurrying into it and ending up with negative comments from initial buyers.
I agree.. the 'launch' seems it was just to get the tongues wagging and keyboards clicking
Like someone said, if it ends up being mechanically sound it will be a winner.
and btw, am not going to pretend like a potential customer because i am not, but i'd like to give it a test ride and hence i am pissed
. i can only imagine the frustration of the potential customers!!
