Got a call from TVS. She said she's calling as I've booked the rr310 and asked for my email id. Also apologised for delay in delivery and asked me to stay in touch with the dealer.

The same happened with me. I couldn't understand what the dude was saying though and I was super busy but understanding that I somehow have to give him the email id, I made efforts to give him the email id. I haven't received anything though. I think that guy might have made a mistake while taking the email id. Share with me if you receive anything.

Btw I talked to the Hare Krishna dealer in Mumbai. Black one is available immediately.. can get it within a week after all the RTO formalities. Red one will take time. He will confirm about the red one in a week. Also doesn't Gujarat have any dealer for this bike !? He said there were customers who were coming from Gujarat with upfront payment.

I haven't received anything as well but I think they're doing this to make sure that the bookings are genuine. As sometimes the dealers sell bikes in black i.e. take extra money to deliver bikes early to interested parties.
Great that black is available right away. Good signs. We might get the bikes soon. I'll call the Pune dealer tomorrow.

Also like you mentioned about Gujarat, there are some states that don't have any dealers selling the apache 310. Haryana and Punjab share one dealer at Chandigarh. They really want to make the experience with this bike (and bmw bikes) feel premium by authorizing less dealers (something like bajaj did with probiking)!

I got a call on friday! I told her I've booked the bike. So she said no i need your email, so i passed it on to her.

Later i mentioned I've booked the bike (yet again), she said ok good. Thanks for contacting tvs 😂😂

Was any one able to test ride in Chennai ?.. How much is the waiting period ?.. Tried contacting both the chennai dealer per details provided on the " Exclusive Apache RR310 dealer " on TVS website.. No one bothered to call me back

Test is not available in chennai, and i believe it will never happen, all we have to do is take a leap of faith and book the bike. Waiting period 3 months.

I visited Hare Krishna TVS today in the morning to enquire about the waiting period. Red -8 months black- 3 months. I was informed that the production for the red bike would start in the month of March as there is a defect in the color. I was told that after washing the color appears to be orangish. Once the production for the red one starts, the waiting period for the red one would reduce. I will be taking the test ride this Saturday.

What is it that we can do here to get TVS attention on this.. Will writing on facebook page help?

Though the product is exceptional per videos reviewers, atleast a test ride should give first hand experience before putting all the money here..

This is crazy..3 Months is unreasonable..

What is the waiting period in other cities?..

For other cities iam not so sure but should be atleast 2 months.
Regarding unavailability of TD, i informed TVS customer care, they didnt even care to take into the consideration. They kept on telling me to book the bike. But asked them how can i book a bike without even having a TD, for that they said, no TD only you can check the display bike.
I guess its hopeless to make a complaint. Even TVS aware of this TD & waiting period issue but it seems they cant do anything as of now.

Am really furious because, there are some videos on youtube where a person is fully reviewing the Digital console features for 30 mins.. He was starting the bike, playing with everything on the bike switches.. I was not even allowed to touch the bike in Chennai

Is there a way to contact Regional manager - sales of TVS say for South?..

Please ask them not to spread any wrong information. Could you please let us know who is the person who let you know this?

The name of the person is Ashwin. He was telling me that they only got 5 red bikes all for delivery and the production has stopped. They are getting 10 bookings per day.
