    Yes that’s what was complained by most. Also tyres lacked feedback according to Sagar sheldekar from powerdrift.
    Anyone has any idea if the break pads are sintered ones?

      Looks like TVS hasn't cut any corners on the quality front this time - pretty odd for an Indian manufacturer. Last month, Royal Enfield had also launched the 650 Twins that were premium, unlike the RE products so far that we're used to.

      From what I see, TVS has used very premium materials and parts - the finishing is immaculate, at par with European/American manufacturers. Sure enough, some other manufacturer can come up with a 400cc or a 350cc competing product for a lower price, but they just wont meet the quality levels of this motorcycle. For what I see, 2.05 L ex-showroom seems extremely reasonable. Good going TVS.

      Proud to see Indian Manufacturers taking things up a notch through both
      • genuine in-house and
      • collaborative research with a highly respectable company (in this case, BMW).


      Great days ahead in general for Indian manufacturers. If they keep doing this as they grow into higher displacement vehicles, they can take their motorcycles to western countries with great success.

          Is TVS going to be selling this overseas? Going by the hype this might cannibalize sales of all the 200-400cc faired bikes. They certainly got the looks right.

                      Just wondering whether matte paints will retain the finish over the period of time as gloss ones if maintained properly.
                      Given that the painted area is more, matte should not be degrading over time.

                        Anyone booked this? Any info on bookings and delivery time? I was asked 10k for booking here in Surat(Gujarat) and they Don't know anything about delivery date..

                          In pune have asked about same and they were oblivious about it. No one has any idea about anything.
                          One Sales guy told me that they will have variants with Pirelli tyres to which i told him that he doesn’t seem to be aware about the product.
                          Another showroom person told me that it will take another 2 months [emoji19]

                            When i checked here in Chennai, they explained me the launch was done only for Delhi and for chennai it is slotted for January.
                            Iam not sure that is true.
