What is big? first we should define the target number before we judge the sales number in this segment.Originally posted by karthikgems View PostI think even Duke 390 is struggling for sales. Really who is making it big in this segment?
One should understand that the sales number in this segment will always be relative to each otherBajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

I only meant to ask who is successful and selling more than the others in this segment..Originally posted by kiran2508 View PostWhat is big? first we should define the target number before we judge the sales number in this segment.

Bajaj enjoys sales in 150cc and above range - that includes P150 to RC 390.Originally posted by karthikgems View PostI only meant to ask who is successful and selling more than the others in this segment..Regards,

Re: CB300R confirmed for India?
95 posts in the thread but there is hardly any useful information about the bike... we seem to be more interested in market research and sales
If the spy shots are true, looks like we will be getting USD forks

Here you go, I found some actual useful information for this thread!Originally posted by ahamedazar View Post95 posts in the thread but there is hardly any useful information about the bike...
As Honda as it can get first with the GPI, now with this nuisance. While everyone decides to eat from their hand, here we have Honda CB300R trying to eat from it's feet
Spot the nuisance which I mentioned in below pics.
Will this get changed for Indian market, I doubt!Bajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

Re: CB300R confirmed for India?
Its actually a blessing in disguise for idiots who ride around town with their thumb always on the horn and constantly honking as if the road is only accessible to them and the other motorists should step aside every time.
Now they have to make a little bit more effort to actually use the button when needed on the move.
After 100k kms on my 250R riding across the states of KA-KL-TN through all kinds of traffic conditions and I've hardly used the horn maybe 50 times in 8 years. I prefer to use the pass light switch to let drivers know I intend to pass and I absolutely loathe idiots who honk from behind at the traffic signals while the light is still red for no reason.
On the plus side, maybe this will force idiots to actually use indicators for once even if accidentally before they actually intend to turn. Or atleast it will let the idiots know there are actual buttons to work those indicators they never seem to use. If I had a dollar for everytime I almost hit a motorist who decided to cut lanes on the expressway without indication, I could probably buy health insurance for the rest of my life.Last edited by Nithesh; 01-31-2019, 12:00 AM.Got a $5 head? Hehehe.Originally posted by kiran2508 View Post
In pursuit of doing something different, yet not so dumb, turns into something which might create backlash.
What we wanted was a bike that has - decent power which can be termed as an upgrade, good fuel tank capacity, decent headlight, gizmos here and there and some nicely balanced chassis and brakes. Coming from a Pulsar, even a Mahindra Tractor gearbox will be butter smooth but hey, I got Pulsar for it's character and affordability.
Honda has a good chance to get a big piece of pie(above 200cc segment) if they price it right.
But Honda being Honda and a distant relative of Yamaha will price it sky high for what it offers. Maximum price would be aligned to feel than specs.Regards,

Re: CB300R confirmed for India?
Very odd. Post deletes when you try to edit on phone.
Anyway, that blog is laughable at best. The horn-indicators swap has been ongoing from 2014 on all Hondas exported from Thailand. It was made to reduce squids from riding around town honking at everyone and everything, even creating nuisance at no honking zones.
Most people have no problem shifting gears with the regular pattern and then jumping on to ride a reverse pattern shift motorcycle. If people are afraid of having to move their thumb an inch up from before to hit the horn, I don't think they should be riding at all.
I'd guess theres been atleast 200k units of these bikes sold over last 4 years from Thailand and there is hardly any report of person failing to move his thumb up to horn and crashing on the road.
Most owners get used to the difference in a matter of days.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

When you have spent so much money on a "2-wheeler" almost cost of brand new base model Kwid or Datsun Go or Eon, you have no other option left at the EOD(end of the day) rather instead to get used to unwanted non-sense quirks like these.Originally posted by Nithesh View PostMost owners get used to the difference in a matter of days.
The price you pay and compromise on things by getting used these stuff because one values money over practicality.
