    Ok.. Let me open it up a bit...

    Bike is FASTEST - 0 to 60... and 0 to 100, both.... among the bikes currently being manufactured in India.

    And when I say that.. that also means.. new 220 is also being compared to old 220.

      Agreed, It might be the fastest!

      But koshun is by how much?

      eg: when the R15 was launched it was touted to beat the shit outta of any bike in a quarter mile, track etc, etc....but we all know what the result really was.

        well i wish they havent added cheap quality ( comparitively ) parts to bring the price down

            what is going in bajaj mind ????? 2 month back i have purchase pulsar 200 for 78000 in jaipur then 180 with same look launch and now 220 is at 70000 ???? man what is this???????

                          But yes, the new 2009 P220 will definitely have to prove itself (The optimist in me tells that it will).

                            The price quoted by CNBC is not to be beleived

                            And since there is no FI Unit, less number of sensors , no ECU , the cost would come down naturally.

                              Anyways, if this news is even 1% true...

                              Than, as predicted, P220 would be carbed and tweaked...

                              and in all probablity replace p200...

                              And FI would find a way in a 'new' bike....!

                                wasnt 220 dtsfi the fastest in both already?

                                I heard (possibly a rumour) 0-60 in 3.6-3.8 , 0-100 around 11 (which was 12.5-13 previously)
