IMO they should have discontinued the 180 and improved the 200 or just continues with it, The 200 was a great bike and IMO better than the 180.

But with the new 180 and the new 220 at an attractive price, this was waiting to happen..
I also think the same they should have continued P200 without too many change phased out 180 and even 200 could have been made more VFM by Bajaj i dont think it is impossible for Bajaj.

Maybe frist time a Bajaj Bike could become legendary collector's item. I personally feel the rawness of 200 is unmatched.

Even showroom personnel told me the same thing. But <90k and >200k there was too much space already both machine dont have any thing similar if and only if the same service center.

Thats the point. The re-sale value will plummet. And there are too many P200s on the road to call your bike exclusive. I would've been proud if I owned a Honda City V-Tec Version2 when they phased it out. The P-200 otherwise has nothing to boast about. Its a good bike, but there are better machines out there. In my case, I dont plan to sell my bike until it has done a lakh, so no worries about re-sale value and I hope the parts are in supply.

EDIT: Devilanish: Why do you have such a striking resemblance to the xbhp member Devlish? Even the display picture.

Anyways if what I have heard & whats posted in the first page is true then Welcome New 220 & Bye Bye 200
This was ineveitable with the 200 & 220 so close on price & the 180 getting more goodies than the 200, it was quite clear. I would have though loved to see 200 taking 180's place & 180 getting phased out.

Being a Pulsar 200 owner, I am now worried thinking whether the spare parts for P200 are going to be available in the near future or not..

Thinking of selling my bike... But my wish is to own the Ninja (which is not yet launched) as my 3rd bike...

Which spare part do you think you wont be able to get?

Almost all the parts are in production in the existing range.

It has already started to fall, and quite steeply too!

Pulsar series.....is no more a Big seller in 2nd Hand market.....which was once upon a time....

Now almost all the second hand shops are filled with pulsar ranges........

I hope so. But look at the forks for example - they dont share the same size with anyone. And forks cannot be replaced with another size just like that, the cone arrangement depends on the fork size and the cone size depends on the chassis assembly. a 31 mm fork has a different size chassis housing for the cone set from lets say a 33m fork. So no chance of replacing there. (Unless you want to replace the chassis) And I'm not too sure about internal parts either. The point is, the engine alone comes with a 5Year unlimited mileage warranty, so hopefully parts should be available for 5 years after the last P200 was sold.
