actually it would be much easier(read cheaper) for Honda or someone to manufacture this kind of bike in India, with the trellis frame (btw this is Honda VTR 250)
its 30kgs lighter than a Ninja 250r, and has enough low to mid range grunt to beat ninja in a 0-60 dash
check comparision here. I personally feel this kind of bike makes more sense for Indian scenario, but its my opinion.
