  • All ye suckers(Ninja buyers) from Bangalore, listen up. The road tax amount has gone up by Rs.6000 in Bangalore, so the on-road now exceeds 3,10,000.

This applies to everyone, including those who have paid in full (me). I would have to pay Rs.6000 more when I come back next week before I can get my bike...

        • If you are planning to move, get a temp registration from Bangalore and then get in permanently registered in the state of your choice!

That does bring some cheer, but now I am confused .

Current RTO Tax for Ninja : 30136
              2% increase : 602
              Total : 30738

Bluevolt can u confirm if it is 6000 or 600 bucks.

              • 6000 bucks it is. 2% on the OTR will get you that.

                    • Price of the bike in Bangalore is like stock index (when it is rising of course)
With all the conjestion on roads and many roads broken, they are hiking road tax. What a shame!

I don't understand this drama at all. The road continue to worsen, more speed breakers introduced everyday, and let me tell you these are not simply speed breakers, these are back bone breakers, you just have to go to less than 10KMPH or even lower to cross it.
More and more automobiles are bought everyday, without any increase in the infrastructure.
Why the heck do they need extra road tax?

To add to it, if the speed breakers are big, then expect jolts on the bottom of the bike as the ground clearance of Ninja is pretty less!

                          • Good News!

I got the call(the most awaited one in my life) from Janaki Ram, Manager, B'lore PBK. He said that my vehicle(Ninja Green) is available for delivery. But the problem is my VTU exams are going on. So I told him I'll come on 26th December to get my baby delivered.
