It does! I am going to check out the Ninja in Delhi early next week as I am going there on a work related trip! But I guess I will only be able to buy it in first half of November, the way things are looking on the bookings and delivery front in Bangalore! Never has been a wait so sweet...Originally posted by ashutosh_x View PostThat makes the two of us!

Actually, sometime back, Kawasaki had a inline 4 250 cc naked called the Balius. I remember reading the article in BS Motoring sometime back. They even said that at the time, Bajaj were homologating the bike for India.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostPerhaps the only 250cc bike in the world with an inline four engine.
Anyways, now is what counts. So, lets enjoy the Baby Ninja
PS: I'm dying for a test ride. It may be so that a lot of test riders get influenced and end up buying the bike... But as earlier pointed out, half the town will hang out at the PBK outlet and Bajaj might have a crowd control issue

As far as 'news' goes, a decade back they were also going to launch the Kawasaki Anhelo, again 250cc, water cooled, et al. never happened. Was a pretty interesting thing, Paris-Dakar inspired styling.
Now that the Ninja 250R is here, I just hope Bajaj has the ethics, or the legal binding, to be responsible for the product even if the motorcycle is a sales failure. BAL seems to have some maniac at the top screaming SELL SELL.
Because all they do is to do everything from 20cc upgrades to mixing-and-matching of parts to sell that extra motorcycle.
Service centre managers actually tell me that parts for my WIND125 are not available because hardly any bikes sold and its not profitable for the company to sell it any more!!
This sounds off topic but not totally. There is a good chance it will be rockets science to get parts for the Ninja bike very soon. Is there no law that says you have to make parts for a bike available for X amount of years after you launched them?

Way to go buddy! Would wait for Ownership thread!Originally posted by bluevolt View PostLol! But I am going to buy the Ninja 250 R anyway so I don't have to worry about the CBF250 if it ever comes! Besides, I don't like the CBF250 much anyway...
Blah! Blah! Blah! i think we have good enough options for bikes as far as India is concerned. lets not keep on wishing for everything under the sun when less than 10% of the ppl would put their money where their mouth is.Originally posted by apacherenator View PostI think its time for other Japanese manufacturers also to become a little more ambitious and bring in their international models into india.. i would love to see the Yamaha YZF R-125, Honda CBR-125, Honda CBF 250 etc on Indian roads!!..And these bikes won't cost as much as a Ninja 250R i guess!!....

Well kawasaki's own Balius II. In fact there were rumors of Bajaj bringing it to Indian a couple of years back !!!Originally posted by bluevolt View PostOne bike I would love to see here is the Honda Hornet 250 - it is one of the best 250's around, though in a different segment than the Ninja 250. Not a very well known bike, since this is Japan specific. Perhaps the only 250cc bike in the world with an inline four engine.
And the CBF 250 should be cheaper than the Ninja if it ever makes it to India...Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!
