I would rather be intersted in knowing what role does KAWASAKI plays in pricing this bike and its future in india IF its launched here.

Price above 2.5lacs for this is must for both the manufracturer and the salesman

unless they want to experiment it first in the market.

a 9000GBP R1 costs 12 lakhs , 4000GBP 250 R costs 3 L , what part of this doesn't make sense?

Its as simple as "If you have the money , go and buy it" else dont criticise about the handlebars and speedo and make them as excuses for not buying one. Its the same which is sold abroad , no changes to the bike.

Good stuff doesn't come cheap.

The silencer was all black with some funny steel/chrome cap at the end is what i remember seeing. The steel cap bit looked kinda odd on the all black theme. Maybe satya remembers. The silencer was facing me when i clicked the pic from the road.

But what a shame and what a lesson!! I didnt bother to go inside thinking its here for real and to stay!!! And satya finds the truth thats diametrically oppposite...... Wonder if we are going to put another lock on another ninja thread.

i wud save my cash for r6 than spend it on this badly designed bike

i am NOT criticsing its speedo and all ..infact i love the bike

if you ask me
R15 is WORTH the techno

IF AND ONLY IF this bike is more than 2.5 .. ''MY PERSONAL'' thought will be not worth the bucks

ps--can you point out something new[compared to R15] EXCEPT the higher cc engine

And you think you will get R6 for 5-6Lakhs in India?
In my opinion, this bike is an old design from world over. It is in existence since early 90s. And our digital speedo P220s and R15s have spoilt us!

plp abroad ( usa & eu)use this to learn how to ride a bike ,after that they throw it or sell it with in 1 year ,that is the purpose of this bike ,once u see it in real life ,u will see the bad quality parts

33 ps , twin cylinder , 160 top whack , 0-100~6 secs. Now where does the r15 stand? when you can pay 1.1 for an R15 , why can't you think about a 3L 250r?

bigger discs , fatter tyres , bigger bike feel , split seats are the other stuff.

What were you expecting from the ninja?
