        Fastest bike in the world?

So, it appears that Yamaha have a product that can beat the mighty Busa and the Kawa ZZR1400!

The 2009 YZF-R1! (have they done something to the engine to extract more out of it) But does it go as fast as the two bikes mentioned above? What is the dough here?

"Delay"! It was never on the cards! At least not since last year.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

^ Not necessarily 'the' fastest bike in the world (The Y2K has een to that), may be the fastest bike in the world for its segment.

(Super dooper speculation mode on: HINT HINT R6 HINT HINT).
            You get the point?? :D

Yamaha coming up with another surprise??

Sept 09 issue of Bike India was refering to a new bike Yamaha is planning to launch soon. They have not given any clues but asked the readers to guess. supposed to be one of the fastest production bikes in the world of all times !! is it the VMAX or a 150cc copy of it for Indian market ?

Has it occurred to anyone that they might be meaning "fastest bike in it's segment anywhere in the world"?
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

The sept bike India issue also refers to the pic given with text, so any guesses about which bike could it be under the covers??

Fastest bike here means as in fastest 250cc bike? or "THE" fastest bike?

Yes it is indeed the new Yamaha V-Max which is going to be launched and alongside it John Abrahim would be revealed as Yamaha's brand ambassador to the media. It looks like Yamaha is very serious about its Indian Operation and dosent wants to leave even a single percent of any oppurtunity to revive its brand image.Kudos to Yamaha for changing whole biking scene in India

This is the art of saying a lot and saying nothing at the same time. Nothing specific. This way they can say, "I never said that".

its pretty logical its end of year, and no sense launching a 250cc bike before next year, to prove the second quarter in profit.

They might bring a fastest bike. But in which segment? Fastest 100cc? Fastest 125cc? Fastest 150cc?

Because there could have been some speculations in international media if they were going against Busa and ZX14!!
