Guys it's definitely the 09' R1 as Yamaha has to fend off competition from the Blade & Autocar is definitely spot-on with most of their scoops and news. Maybe the mods could rename the thread topic or split it?sigpic

The BI pic in the link above looks fake. Looks like some bike was covered, pic taken, and the pic taken, eg: this Yammie R1 Concept (look at the shadows on the tires) and nicely edited in PS and put up on site as a scoop. But as far as the news is concerned with respect to 'launch of one of the fastest production bikes in the world' its got to be the 09 R1 but if its something else wholly for the Indian market (which i doubt) then its good news!
But as far as the news scoop is concerned looks fake to me. And i guess the speculations can rest awhile till something concrete takes place.--------------------------------

Well then thats that....09 R1 is def the fastest litre bike,..if you refer the international tests,..it does have way faster 0-150-0 time than the blade etc,...but i was really hoping for a beefy cruiser like the Warrior,..to take on the suzuki and the harleyThere is a thin line between adventure and madness,...God must have made me myopic for a reason!!!Comment
