after going through the posts i can only say " thank God!!! its an online forum'' otherwise we would have given the doctors in casualty department a very tough time

now to the topic. i feel the older one was much better in styling at least. a half fairing would have been nice.there are some nice touches but all in all the big fairing doesnt gel with the bike.
Personally i would have liked to see it evolve more of as a tourer with bits thrown in for the tourers , some upgrade on the engine specs ,Fi ,better lights and a styling to go with the tourer image.personally i would have like to see this kind of styling on ZMA.But in India who cares about it.will this kind of bike ever sell in India??? my guess is as good as yours.

a full fairing without the handling characteristics of a supersport is a joke. i hope HH might have tweaked the handling as well to compete with R15.lets wait till the test ride reports are out

so HH gives us a new faring which looks like it's been made using a cheap plastic welding and some serious dose of a "hathoda" by a roadside chap,they take GS150R's headlamp stretch it a bit and feviquicked it in front,then they beg HONDA to give them PGM-FI(which they'll charge atleast 10000 more cuz it has that PGM-FIwritten on fairing,remember the price diff between Stunner carbed and FI...) and they think they've gven some seriously new bike to the indian customers.....

when bajaj did it with 220 carbed there was a "ho halla" that oh what it did only swapping the FI with Carb but the shape is old nothin much but that F written on the fairing...

when bajaj upgraded its 220 he gave us a bike with more poke,better tyres and even slashed the price...

remember when HH slashed the price of KARIZMA years ago it provided us with the same bike tht now had KARIZMA wriiten with a 'sticker' on the tank and earlier it used to be some good lookin plastic or 3d logo...they saved some 100 bucks thr too......

but when HH does it with karizma just by adding a "kid designed fairing",a videogame type console, X-tremes splits with old YAMAHA FAZER type tail lamp,most of the people will end up "believing" what a new bike it is....

HH rules here.....and he'll charge 20 grand more for the shit it created and people will end up paying happily for the same engine that will create some 1 PS more.....

anyday the new 220 can f%#k the truckfull of ZMR and will be ready to do it again and again without even breakin in sweat.....

The ZMR looks as GS150R from the front,gladiator from the rear and fairing looks like as of the hayabusa!

Indians in general have more craze for faired bikes...so,I don't think these designs will do any good for the company in terms of volume,though it will sell,thanks to hardcore bikers who really know what to expect from their steeds...

why are all you guys getting hyper ....just wait for the official specs.but really in looks dept i give it a 2 out of 10....and the console is good lookin though...i just wanna see it turned on


am also kind of wondering whats the top end of 220dtsi cause a 21 power engine is giving a 138kmph true top end and a 17.6 one is giving 135

can't compare top ends based on the power output...for eg,yammie gladiator with a 11bhp motor reaches around 108-110kmph similar to hunk,a 14 bhp bike...depends a lot on the tuning,aerodynamics,tyres etc etc...

2--a fi karizma with no power increase.with a price tag of rs 85000 ex showroom.

Just how do HH expect the ZMR to get a proper engine cooling with that ugly full fairing?? I dont think the Oil Cooler can cool the engine to such an extend!

Same kind of senseless cribbing happened when we saw pics of new Xtreme with colored grahpix and red rear alloy scheme. In fact, Manav even told us, HH is watching the forum. What did happen, they released the bike and they are happy that it is selling like hot cakes. I felt they had the last laugh.

So far, there have been very few posts that have some sense in this thread. People even could not wait for official launch of specs. Could not wait to check out the bike in real, but are giving final comments, including performance and handling characters too.

There is no final verdict about the product, and HH is being brutally raped by our own great big 'bikers' community.
