      • okay... Bunny spilled some oil...! the ZMR has an oil cooler radiator... Honda has it in the Twister (CBX 250)... so some parts from the crank case would have changed at least to accommodate the oil cooler pipes.

        PS: There was news that Honda imported 2 containers of CBX 250 parts about 6 months back. Could it be for the ZMR or could it be for another Honda in the making?

          Those crying about power... remember, the power figures people specify are the peak ones... what matters is how leaner the power delivery is across the RPM range.           Also, why don't you guys let the scoop news providers live in peace. I believe every scoop news is correct in one way or the other. Making an automobile is not a multiple choice question paper where you select the perfect answer to get your marks. Companies develop and test numerous combinations. Only one of them hits the showrooms. People who've got scoop news would have got info from any of the model tested.

          After all this, there was one guys who told clearly (before HH Hunk Launch) that HH is making a fully faired ZMA FI with the same engine, clip-ons and most components would belong to existing ZMA. Someone heated him up with a very intimidating argument and he was infracted. We've lost many such people from xBhp just because of these stupid arguments and erratic comments.

          If we loose such contributors there won't be much credibility to the forum in the long run. People who know info would keep numb and we would be shooting in the dark.

          @ Bunny_Sir : ....Most immature comments are on specs. you have responsibility to bring peace to the thread by just clarifying specs .....Will buy Oct. issue in dozens if you clarify specs...

              HH bikes are mostly "comfort fit" for variety of physiques. Since ZMR has clip-ons we need to wait and feel the bike before commenting. Clip-ons look like they are adjustable like one on RTR.

                  Nobody on the forum has test ridden this bike as of yet, except for Bunny. However, he won't say anything, since it's for the magazine he's with. So wait and see.

                    I just told the fact to make understanding clear, many big bikes too have fixed type clip-ons. But adjustable ones should be convinient.

                      Why do you have to drag a P220 / RTR180 in every discussion about non Bajaj/TVS.. are you intimidated by them.. or just plain scared?

                      Anyways, back to topic. Much needed upgrade has finally arrived, But it has disappointed me, as a tech buff. I would have loved it too be more like 19.5/20bhp as previously speculated (how hard could it be). The PGM-Fi will make the response crisper, and none seems to notice, the 17.6bhp is @7000rpm, you dont need to keep it in the high rev band to extract the power. I for one, respect all the flagship premium motorcycles of all brands and know for a fact, that all of them, R15, P220, ZMR & even RTR180 cater to different audiences and can never be compared to each other.

                      Karizma was a vehicle which needed a proper upgrade since a long time ago, when we finally have one, learn to respect. When they put the Oil (is) Cooled under the full fairing, they must have tested the thing a couple of thousand times at least, to check if it is efficient enough to cool the engine under all temperatures/loads/speeds as if HH have one thing going with thm, its the legendary "Reliability".. and they wont want to lose that EDGE to the Bajajs and the TVSs of India. That is the thing that has made the ZMA IMO the most reliable tourer in the country.. and they wont want to lose that badge due to a stupid "Full Fairing with Inefficient Cooling" and "Badly designed clip-on handlebars leading to back pains". Please ride first and then comment about what parts you "Dont Like".

                      P.S.: I would only want to discuss performance. Least Interested in Looks...

                      Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                              HH had almost tested it now for 2-3 months, No doubt it'll be on the lines of its legacy of comfort.

                              • Wait eagerly for the Oct. BIKE India Issue.... Thats the best we can do instead of fighting over brands n all....

                                This pre launch discussion about the ZMR-Pgm Fi reminds me of the RTR180 launch.... Heck.... There were all sorts of speculations in the air before its launch.... Like Semi fairings,Fuel injection system,Projector headlamps,close to 20 bhp of power and most weirdly ABS!! But when the 180 finally came out it created an initial disheartening for all the RTR enthusiasts including me for missing out all these features (But almost all including me finally got to like the new 180)....In this case all the blame would b on the speculations that quoted over 20 bhp power for the ZMR n other stuffs....

                                Atleast HH Reworked on the exterior appearence of the Karizma that remained mostly unchanged for years(Except the famous Sticker Jobs by HH....) And provided it with new technologies n looks!

                                Setting apart the performance which is not known to us till now.... Lookwise I prefer the old Zma R.
