Looks part I really can't comment, but seeing mobile phone pictures, HH has done pretty good job....I don't think some of the critics here will really buy HH product even if it look better ?!

Coming to the most important part of the bike...obviously... Zma mill + PGMFi ...will blow away the competition in terms of engine refinement and even smoother power delivery....plus the bike will become bit more fuel-efficient than the carb Zma-R.

Pricing if true is bit higher side, but it's kind of justfied if we see additions like (additional cost only)
1. PGMFi (say Rs.10000),
2. Rear dics (say Rs.2000)
3. Clip-ons(say Rs.500)
4. Console(say Rs.3000),
5. GRS (say Rs.500),
6. Front fairing/headlight/Full fairing (say it's worth Rs.6,000)
7. etc etc
All adds roughly to 22K on which price is quoted....

Mind you guys...these will be of top notch quality (not imported from III rate Chinese/Taiwanese company)

@Shivank: NOWHERE in my post above did I say just blindly buy or approve what's being "thrown" at us, so called breed of premium bikers. What I am trying to say is, now that the looks have been beaten to death with since afternoon today, let us hope that ATLEAST the performance makes up for the looks! Also, an official spec-sheet from Hero Honda would really be good.

Really disappointed with the looks.now all im intrested is in upgrading the shockers on my bike to ZMR's if thats possible.

Yes, that full chain cover and that 100 section tyres still remains, sadly. Heck, it isn't even a respectable 20 odd BHP (not even 18 ala P200!).

1. Dont forget the old Karizma was not worth how much HH was charging. So HH have been royally fleecing the customers by selling a under equipped machine for a long long time.
2. Common even a 100cc bike nowadays has digital instrumentation and it took HH so long to add one, thus your justification of the increase in price is not justified

Another highly disappointing launch from the NOTORIOUS R&D of HH.. They could atleast have tweaked the product's perfomance even when they completely ruined the old Zma's beauty...

Disappointing! This is what a 6yrs upgrade looks like? It might have been somehow ok if it was, say a 1-2 yrs upgrade. But of course, this being India, knowledgeable bikers account for only like, 1% of the total consumers. So, HH rightly did not worry about satisfying this chunk of consumers.

Great going HH. I congratulate you on not bowing down to the pressure from this segment of consumers and giving in to their demands. This way you can shunt the growth of the performance segment and continue selling the latest Splendours and Passions. (Aren't those dies too old?) I also see that you have thrown a .5 bhp insult at them as a bonus! You do know how your loyal fans will go gaga at this increase and point to them the inherent power of the engine. And the general population will simply go mad at the "Hayachusa" fairing. How thoughtful of you to cater to the demands of the posers. And I know too how you will sneer at those pesky xBhpians a month down the line and say - "Didn't I say this was exactly what Indian bikers wanted". If by some freak chance, this bike does not generate sales as anticipated, you always can bring down the price by a couple of grands and slap on some garish colours (isn't pink the new black?) as a bonus. Isn't that the real reason for the price hike? Also, you have to gather the funds for that Hrithik Roshan dance show, oops ad? Sure, we understand. So, this bike can stay on for a couple of years more and destroy the well deserved reputation the original Zma has, just like you did with the original CBZ. Finally thing will come a full circle.

Ofcourse, this is all business. Who am I fooling? It is evident that HH just doesn't care about building a reputation in the performance segment. And the R15 suddenly looks much VFM! If not for anything else, thank you HH for just that.

2. HH need not follow competition, b'cos they offer you long term bike with best reliability and quality...and most 100cc buyers people want a bike not chinese digital stuff..
