I don't think any reason can be attributed to high viewing, it's quite complicated.... one reason is Karizma is very popular bike (like n hate)

Coming to the most important part of the bike...obviously... Zma mill + PGMFi ...will blow away the competition in terms of engine refinement and even smoother power delivery....plus the bike will become bit more fuel-efficient than the carb Zma-R.

Pricing if true is bit higher side, but it's kind of justfied if we see additions like (additional cost only)
1. PGMFi (say Rs.10000),
2. Rear dics (say Rs.2000)
3. Clip-ons(say Rs.500)
4. Console(say Rs.3000),
5. GRS (say Rs.500),
6. Front fairing/headlight/Full fairing (say it's worth Rs.6,000)
7. etc etc
All adds roughly to 22K on which price is quoted....

Mind you guys...these will be of top notch quality (not imported from III rate Chinese/Taiwanese company)

This I agree. No one on xBhp has ever doubted the tourin potential of the ZMA. This new launch seems to have been in the same line.

WOW...what an answer. Right on the spot...nailed it man. In fact the biggest reason that I did not like the ZMA was the absence of basic safety features (on a bike touted as the best tourer).

IMHO, this bike will sell and that too in numbers. There is no dearth of posers and dhoom wannabes. For serious bikers, maybe they will settle for the ZMA. I am not sure whether the 0.6 BHP (am I correct?) would be sufficient to haul the ZMR at high speeds with comfort. I still like the old ZMA.
I do not think that HH will discontinue the ZMA cause they would want to cover both the market segments just like Bajaj. I do see some features like tubeless tyres and the new fairing making their way to the ZMA in the not too distant future.

If the specs are true and there's a hike of .6 bhp then too won''t the added weight from the goodies be a downside for those numbers?

I just hope that the exciting "new" features on the ZMR like tubeless tyres, rear disc brakes, digital console and most importantly Oil Cooling ("oil is cooled") is not taken as "Fancy" stuff that is not needed on bikes.

No idea...I am hoping that the specs mentioned here are false; am no HH fan but can surely do with something that improves the scene and competition.

OT: There was a new HH Hunk Advt on the tube today. Any idea if this was a new launch too?

guys....seems that brochures were given out at the inaugral....and the guy who posted the pics said that the specs given by him are the same in the brochure....so i guess these are the official specs

Ya I could not notice much of a difference . And the very little difference I could notice was ofcourse cosmetic . But not sure also on this . Think Headlight and a bit tank structure has changed . Not sure thou . May have not seen properly .

Dont just go over the specs... the ZMA (old) still has enough juice to match the P220/R15 (AFAIK). Hope the Fi does some magic to the new bike.

The bike looks ok to me, need to see it in real. Let's wait for the official specs and I personally did not like 1st ZMA neither did I like CBZ-Ext. but now when I see ZMA R I just cant get my eyes away from it.
