I hate the new looks.
Like:
Clip ons, digi gizmos, rear disk and gas shocks.
Hate:
Fairing (!), odd looking headlamp, new silencer and CBZ/Hunk rear transplant.
They could have upgraded the crappy rear tyre as well.
Also, the engine still makes its peak bhp at 7000 rpm, I wonder if it still redlines at ~8.2k?

They now also have PGMFI R&DOriginally posted by riazmomin View PostI would definetly not blame Hero Honda because they dont have any R&D except claimed Sticker R & D, So I never exect performance bikes from them.
But what could be the problem with other Manufracturers who seems to have their own R&D. Definelty there are certain reasons that are stopping them that might be out of our reach.
.
exactly my point . what about suzuki , honda ? bajaj ? with its tie ups with KTM and kawasaki ? why cant they bring a f****ng 250/300/400 cc REAL bike which they can assemble here or even manufacture a few components . and yamaha ? they launched an awesome bike with no power and a pocket bike which they further divided into 3 variants . which now has "special" paint schemes .
People like me will either have to earn a fortune and buy a bike when im 40 . which would probably be electric. or if my dad hits a jackpot...
Sorry for the OT post .
new ZMA is welcome . analog tacho and monoshock would have been good .

Looks part I really can't comment, but seeing mobile phone pictures, HH has done pretty good job
....I don't think some of the critics here will really buy HH product even if it look better ?!
Coming to the most important part of the bike...obviously... Zma mill + PGMFi ...will blow away the competition in terms of engine refinement and even smoother power delivery....plus the bike will become bit more fuel-efficient than the carb Zma-R.
Pricing if true is bit higher side, but it's kind of justfied if we see additions like (additional cost only)
1. PGMFi (say Rs.10000),
2. Rear dics (say Rs.2000)
3. Clip-ons(say Rs.500)
4. Console(say Rs.3000),
5. GRS (say Rs.500),
6. Front fairing/headlight/Full fairing (say it's worth Rs.6,000)
7. etc etc
All adds roughly to 22K on which price is quoted....
Mind you guys...these will be of top notch quality (not imported from III rate Chinese/Taiwanese company)

I think we had too much expectation from an indian manufacturer entirely dependent on big daddy Honda.
What matters for Hero Honda is profit. I am sure they would have done proper home work before launching the bike. There are many guys out there who would buy the bike for its looks.
The console is great. I do not like the fairing. I hope the bike is very smooth with FI. It is not value for money like its competitor if you compare the features, but still a very reliable and comfortable bike in the segment. As it comes from Hero Honda, I am sure the quality would be good.

The speedo console is awesome.
I do not want to comment on the looks till I see it on road.
HH Bikes are not that photogenic...Originally posted by riazmomin View PostPersonally I too liked the looks, But Still would love to see this bike in flesh to give a proper justification to the words I say rather than throwing mouth around.
I'm sure, the ZMR would look gr8 in flesh...
And I hope the specs news is incorrect
