I hope they make the TVS Taurus Fiero F3 concept into a reality, that way if I buy it I will have the Fiero F2&Fiero F3 also...howz that?

High hopes, I hope Apache 200 looks bigger than 160&180.

not to be pessimistic but i think the 200 RTR will also be similar to the present ones , maybe they might change few parts like exhaust ,headlight but essentially it will be the same . hope im wrong

haha a whole fiero lineup.I would have still had my suzuki fiero,if it hadn't been stolen, damn i used to always curse the bugger who stole it the first thing when i get upin the morning.
What wrong in imagining-some points from my side a whole new design(no full fairing please, naked's fine),dont care even if it doesn't have a monoshock,a sweet sounding exhaust,a full dc set up,good handling similar to the 160 or better and last and not the least
                  a good set of tyres.

                    here's mine...CONSIDER THIS TVS

                    TVS,
don't worry about the new commuter bike... make a 200cc cruiser bike... to give competition to avenger...
after that come out with a 220cc bike... TAURUS may be...

^^Dont place such high hopes on TVS, you will only be bloodily disappointed!!

But as far as performance of their machines goes, they will be SPOT-ON!!(if at all, they come)

Also even if I personally would love if a 250+ model is available, thinking from a business perspective I am not sure if that is what is needed.

The Yamaha FZ-16/FZ-s/Fazer and the R15 all have 150 cc engines but still they have caught the imagination of Indian bikers in a big way haven't they?

Therefore looking at the present scenario, according to me the best bet would be totally "differentiated products", never mind if they remain in the 160-180 cc category.

Now how to find that "differentiation strategy" (or how to bell the cat) is the real challenge.

Yday I was talking to the guys at the service centre... they were saying TVS is gonna release a 250 cc very soon with dual discs for the front!!!
I could only smile. I told them even the Ninja doesnt have it.. They were pretty strong in their convictions though...

                                A challenge indeed...
How about having a commuter 150 like the Apache 150 along with the RTR? May be it can cater to those people who shy away from the RTR because it is sporty.

Good. They have dual sparks. Dual discs could be the next logical step.
