Well... i'm also hoping that TVS should tie-up again with Suzuki. I beleave that a "legend should compete with another legend". we already have a legend ruling the 250cc segment... Yes i'm talking about Kawasaki Ninja. Suzuki is the only company that can match up with Kawasaki in terms of style and performance. Moreover TVS should compete in the 200cc segment all by its own because i beleave that wen apache RTR 180 is able to compete with Pulsar 200cc in terms of performance, Apache RTR 200cc should do just fine. TVS should go for a Tie-up only in the 250cc segment. And that too with Suzuki. Lets keep our finger crossed and hope for the good.Originally posted by RedApple View PostLast edited by Kishore26; 12-06-2009, 02:41 PM.

I totally accept with u buddy... TVS should come up with a DC setup. Lets keep our fingers crossed...Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostAll I hope from TVS is
1) It should NOT be 200... from 180 to 220 make more sense, else phase the 160!
Better Make it 200 Carb and 220 FI :P
Make that a DC setup
I dont care if it has a monoshock or not, full fairing or not!

here is ma dream for an apache rtr 200 the decals to be a bit more sporty
the design should be a same but a bit bigger and taller than rtr160
and bigger tyres like that of fz and cool colors like fzs and fazer
digital speedo with white lights and hd lamps split seats like that of a 220 and a bigger silencer like a p200 and ofcourse a louder beat than the old apaches love their beat and also liquid cooled engine so that should look like a sport bike and a absolute performer and it should perform like hell too

A friend of mine who races for TVS Racing had no clue of RTR 2XX last December when I enquired about!!
However, they have RTR 250 fx engines which can be de-tuned for streets! Forget RTR 250, TVS Racing has RTR 400 fx also!
@Abishekkrishna...
Good luck!

No way will TVS charge so much!! It will be easily below 1.5 lakh on road keeping in mind the RTR 180 which is 80k on road. Ninja costs a bomb because Bajaj is getting them in CKD form from elsewhere. However, Camille(Pondicherry xBhpian who is French) had told me that a Ninja costs more or less the same back there.Originally posted by abishekkrishna View Postnow the problem will be that indian customers will also want power bigger tyres and great looks and they also expect

A 200+cc packed with 20+bhp RTR will set the streets on fire!
It is not just the launch, bro! There are lot many things that should happen in the company starting from manufacturing plant to SVC. Launching a bike is no easy task taken into account the demands of the Indian population! Add to it, the brand Apache RTR. There are huge number of people waiting for RTR 2XX. They know it very well. It is very clear they are not ready yet.Originally posted by Satyamzma View Postwhat's the use of those engines for us if tvs is not launching them commercially
BTW, people who have booked RE Bullet back in Jan 2010 are still waiting!!
@Abishekkrishna...For your latest query..
RTR 250 and RTR 400 which I am talking about are in MX bikes(dirt bikes) which they use for National Supercross Championships! They have a different design altogether as you know.Last edited by Makky; 05-15-2010, 04:30 PM.

a fresh 200cc or 200+ engine will be interesting...Look out at the darkness, and you will see
Just call my name and I'll be there
You cannot touch me, you would not dare
I am the chill that's in the air
