    • ^^^ thought of that. But the kick rod, rear brake pedal, front forks - a few things made of thick steel and are seen in chrome. To consider that Honda went in for an all black theme and painted the brake pedal black, why isn't the kick-rod painted black?

Not concluding anything here but pointing out what I thought before I decided that it could be a auto-gear bike.

      • But, another supporting data for your theory is....

Look at the silencer; it is round and small and just resembles the silencer of gearless scooters. What do you say?

Now, I am convinced, it is a gear-less bike.

        • ^^^ not considering the exhaust that way... I think that part can be designed as per the need in terms of looks where-in they tuck in all the technical aspect inside it.

May be right, but the end can just looks like other gearless exhausts from the Honda. The exhausts of other bikes are not like this. See the promint protrusion at the end, just like a gearless scooter, not like the bike exhausts.

This is just my personal opinion.
              My opinion,
              1. HMSI's entry level bike was in news since 2006, HMSI also said it would be sports type and not commuter type ! Whereas phrase 'P135cc' was born few days ago, so your opinion logically should be otherwise, Bajaj countering HMSI's product ?!
              2. The piece of news is from Business Standard (THE HINDU group), I feel the news is genuine.
              3. Hondas don't depend on media publicity like others do.....'Honda' is a huge brand, and people will trust their product than media reviews and ratings. Unicorn is/was trashed in all comparos, but it still remains the most respected 150cc bike on Indian road. It might not have won many awards, but people will surely vote it as bike of the decade if we conduct a poll?!

                • Okay, few pages back there was a picture with an encircled area... Someone said its a resonator or something... But I think its the brake lever! Look closely....

here, check attachment... I've drawn a lever in red, and the area above it bears resemblance...
                  You get the point?? :D

                  • If this happens to be a clutchless variometric bike....dan it is sure the already existing 109cc engine of the honda scotrettes....

However, Honda promised an all new engine for this bike...!

                    • honda wants this to be a mass segment bike and will not for sure experiment with a clutchless system...what if it then fails to take off?HHs brand reputation didnt help "street"s cause...if you know what i mean
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

Didn't Honda create a mass segment out of an unknown type of vehicles (Kinetic Honda) and a Segment that was almost dead (Scooters)?

The HH Street came in at a wrong time, wrong looks and wrong price.

@svjhonda, you've drawn a line but why can't we see that thing directly in the photo? and how could you see it?

                          • guess what.............why did Honda named a 100cc after a 250cc????

and TVS Jive faces the hive with competitive vibe just after launch !!!!!!
