Remember the Karizma ZMR (with full fairing) is heavier than the older Karizma R (with a half fairing) by around 10 Kgs..!!

My guess is that without the Half fairing, the "S" variant should be at around 3 kgs lighter.

Guys Think! Even if you ride empty stomach, and remove the toolkit & extras, you can save 3 kgs ... But it doesn't really add performance, at least noticeable. Fact.

the fairing including bracket etc will be around 5kgs...mech at pbk told me once...

My reaction.
Again a blast from BAJAJ. 3kgs less means definitely increase in performance. I think this bike will now reach it's top end quickly than the faired version.

But am also not very happy with the current setup. This means more bikes for the same no. of PBK outlets. So quality of work will take a backseat now. Wish BAJAJ had improved on that front first.

@ Bandhav, if they are going to launch this as naked version, is that so they will stop the faired version ( with projector lamps ) or will continue with the old one too ? Faired version has very impressive look, I hope they will continue with it. Am i right Bandhav ?

Personal opinion for this new look.. not impressed !

Looks like Bajaj is following the footsteps of Yamaha or taking inspiration from them.
Yamaha got FZ16 then later on Fazer and Bajaj got P220 DTS-i and then a naked P220 DTS-i is on the cards.

I can see that .. if you are accessing through your office network, must be due to security settings or must be a issue with your browser settings.

Yeaps I am in the office indeed, pretending artistically that I am working by punching in some random keys and staring at the monitor looking perplexed ,when the ground reality is that I have almost a dozen websites open ,never the less thanks a lot bro ,would check it later from home.

Seems like every xbhpian agreed that whatever version of 220 comes .. it shud atleast have the projector lamp. Is bajaj listening?

@Samarth: Deduction of 3 kg in sprung weight is equal to 1 bhp, you say not noticeable i say not bad at all.

@Neo: Both the S and F versions will be available.

And the idea behind bringing this version is to increase the sales volume by catering the need of customers who wanted the naked variant of 220.
