    The tech specs say the "s" weighs 148 kg.
    So that means that the "F"s fairing weighs just 3-4 kgs.....

    Kinda hard to believe coz last time rx100.7050 told me this thing weighs a lot......

      Well the weight difference is between the s' fairing & F's fairing i.e. F' fairing minus S' fairing == difference. Besides 4 KG is a lot of weight difference for just a fairing

        Not really, considering that there's a bunch of metal pieces inside to keep the whole thing properly attached to the bike. There's a complete frame that hold the headlights and the plastic bits in their place. So yes, 4kgs reduction is definitely possible.

          Well I too was saying the same i.e. this much difference is fine & that the whole difference is not just of the fairing.

          Btw the specs posted in previous page shows the difference to be of 2 Kg only.

            can we get projector head light in this model too.i think it is not d.c. light in new model bike.

                What I mean is that the f's fairing looks very bulky, dipankar once told me that it weighs a lot. I dont have a 220 so I dont exactly know. The body is not made of petbottle plastic, its good quality plastic and has good mass, on that there are electricals, some brackets to hold the fairing and stuff like that. So it should pack some 6-7 kgs. On the other hand the 150/180/200/220s fairing does not weigh much.

                Then why only 2 kg weight diff.??? that too is not sure that its 2kgs or more/less.

                I expected 220 s to be some 5-6 kgs lighter...

                  The 220 has lost its individuality IMHO. No offence. If they could have done a little something different extra to make it look differnt. Not that it looks bad, but IMHO it just looks another pulsar. Not like a 220 with its beefy beastly semi fairing which stands out from the crowd.
                  A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

                    How about the 135 ls headlamp with a projecter at the bottom and the rear cowl of the ls as well with the R6 style number plate but no mudguard!!!!!! would have been amazing !!!!!!!!!! Full naked monster

                            guys im not doing any OT im thinking of buying 220S because many of my friends had the 220 DTfsi they get a rediculous mileage of around 30 -40 KmPL i consider the 220S will it give a little more mileage any one knows if the bookings have started in mumbai ???????

                            i own a 200 it give 45+ KmPL

                            my brothers going tomorrow to a vendor(dealer not a bajaj dealer) to check if they are selling it im just hoping they have started the booking

                                go to kanjurmarg pbk and book it delivery in 3 - 5 days have been there two weeks back and they also have a 220 s for display go for it bro!!!!!
