Guys, Heads up! Check this news:-->

            New models on the horizon

Both of the models will sport engines with cubic capacities above 125cc but below 200cc. One of these two models will come from an Indian subsidiary of a Japanese company while the other will be an indigenous product.
For first (Japanese), I strongly suspect Honda Unicorn Sports Concept's launch.

Second (Indian), we know it's Bajaj that's gearing up for a launch. Maybe its the 4 Valve Smaller Pulsars or Discover 150 DTSi (or DTSSi).

Wishlist: #1 A monoshock Discover 150 DTS-Si (for the commuter read.. Unicorn)

#2 130KG Pulsar 180 DTS-i 4-Valve. (They cant just abandon the original Indian performance bike.)

#3 A P220 4-valve DTSi with the aforementioned retrofit option (I know they will never give the retrofit option but therez no harm in "Wishing".. after all.. this is a "Wishlist")
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Well if Bajaj does upgrade the P150/180/200 into 4-Valves engines, then I am sure there will be many who would complain on how they cheat their older customers by constantly upgrading its products.

Before introducing another UPGRADE to the pulsar line up BAJAJ will surely give it's avenger the 220 treatment.

Recently I am trying to import a p180 but my importers are saying about the shortage of 180s in showrooms (don't know whether it is true or not). So my guess, a upgraded 180 might come.

I think I have to wait for one more day to know the real story.

No upgrade for 180 it is doing decent numbers already. And there is only a year passed since it has got it's new clothes and tweaked heart.
Bajaj, generally donot plays with their ROLE models.

                            It will....

That's what it's doing from the years since the PULSARS have been launched, UPGRADING them, no other manufacturer upgrades it's model as the way bajaj do, the next upgrade will be out soon, feat. the 4 valve head.

ROLE models i meant 180 and 150, nothing major hasbeen done since their launches apart from cosmetic upgrades. and look at 220 it has got straightly from 19bhp to 21!! but 150 did it after 4-5 years and that too a jump of mere 1PS by changing CARB. and donot talk about 180 dts-i only .5Ps jump this time. And in near future atleast this year no major upgrades are launching for 180 and 150.

UPgrades not only meant boosting the PS, but the way BAJAJ has injected the kind of energy in the 150 and 180 over the years is worth a clap, right from the twin plugs to the standard discs, standard alloys, standard self everything.

It's because of the BAJAJ the indian manufacturers were forced to introduce the alloys and disc as a atandard fitment otherwise it would have been still an optional affair.

And it's BAJAJ who has given digital speedo to even a 100CC bike and made it popular across the segments.

BAJAJ "introduces" things to the masses and the other manufacturers are then forced to follow or give the things BAJAJ is providing.

May be not this year but they will receive the 4 valve head.(PULSARS)
And after this step we'll soon be seeing RTR family with 4 valve head closely followed by HONDA.
