They have been upgrading BHPs of all models in small steps in most upgrades. Thats the reason it goes almost unnoticed. But the cumulative effect is noteworthy (especially in P150.. almost 25% bump in peak power over the years). In that respect, P180 is lagging behind in terms of upgrades.. it does desrve the 4-valve treatment more than anyone else on the lineup. Especially because the competition being Apache 180 (17.3 ps) is far ahead at the moment at least. (i mean with the 11 kg lighter frame, better handling, rear disc etc.)
Edit: but seriously.. the P180 needs to seriously think about losing some of its flab.. I mean.. a P220 Streetfighter(kerb weight 148kg), with a bigger engine, longer wheelbase, rear disc assembly and oil cooler, is just 1 KG heavier than the P180 (kerb weight 147kg)Last edited by antz.bin; 05-09-2010, 02:07 PM.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
